A protable thermostat, what a good idea. Glad you got it up to 16, that's much more acceptable.
I think our it's actually portable, but we have never moved it,!! Might have to try that tomorrow and see! 🤔♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Hope you both found the portable thermostat useful 😊
Had a lovely lunch out with DF yesterday £25.30. Remaining in current account £49.73. Need to get £10 petrol today after aquafit. Mot and service on Monday & separate saving pot for that (currently £800) but hoping no work needed 🤞
Chicken casserole in my slow cooker today. I have several meals in the freezer. Remaining chicken thighs will be coated in tandoori spices with roasted veg tomorrow (courgettes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, butternut squash). £38.73 remaining should be enough for groceries next week.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Dark and cold this morning with rain lashing against the windows. The heating is on, 12.5 this morning so I won’t get out of bed until it is up to at least 16 😆
My largest radiators are in my bedroom and living room. I am finding it gets nice and toasty in the living room in the evening but the rest of the house is still cold. I am thinking of getting another radiator put into my kitchen/ diner as only one side of the room is warming up. The other side is cold and my dehumidifier shows it is 13 degrees and then turns itself off on the frosty setting 😳 I will contact my heating engineer after Christmas.I feel quite hungry this morning so I am looking forward to a chorizo, cheese and mushroom omelette for breakfast. The oven will be on later for tandoori chicken thighs and roasted med veg.Payday on Friday and family party. I should just need to pay for a few drinks. My calendar is filling up with Christmas meals out so I am going to give extra to my December entertainment budget.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks @[Deleted User]. It sounds like you are doing well in retirement. My income will increase when my pensions start at 67. I have enough to not need to work. I should have enough equity to last until then supplementing one pension starting at 60. It is a lifestyle choice so I could retire at 55 but I am quite happy with my life.I have received my car insurance renewal DL ☎️ gone up from £271.83 to £390.86 😳🫣😵
Did a quote online and phone DL who brought it down to £322.94. Best quotes online including everything £254.16. Will check out more quotes online tomorrow my head hurts now 🤯0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

My insurance renewal has actually gone down this year, I couldn't believe it. I will still shop around though to check."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1
