Hello, I sent my defence on the 09th March 2023 and received the attached letter. I sent my defence to the court and copied in DCB Legal as advised on the newbies page.
What are they talking about?0 -

Which words exactly are you having trouble with?
Keep that letter - it will be useful if DCBLegal were ever to claim not to have seen your Defence.3 -
Thsnks Keith. I meant they are claiming I haven't followed the protocol which I have. I suppose they are assuming I sent the defence direct to them and not to the court which they are wrong, especially if they saw they were only CC'd.1

I don't know why anyone bothers to CC in their defence to the legals as the CCBC takes care of that. As long as you have the acknowledgement of that, you are OK.2 -
Hi Guys, I received the below email from the claimants solicitor, do I reply to reject their offer or ignore?

That's already covered in the 12 steps in the first post of the Template Defence thread. You should be expecting that letter and not showing it to us like it's something new & unexpected.
No need to show us the first standard letters nor (please) to ask us about filling in the standard N180 DQ form when that arrives.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi CM, I have revisited the template defence thread and I cannot see any mention of how best to manage the "without prejudice save as to costs" email.
I just need to understand if it's worth replying back to them?0 -
