"We are a division of Watson Petroleum. All our deliveries are undertaken by Watson Fuels or by one of its other divisions. Deliveries are not passed to other companies. This gives us greater control over our customers' deliveries of fuel."
Did W buy them?
Perhaps if you read my post more carefully?:p
"Although I haven't bought from them I use direct oil for an instant online quote to check prices"
I didn't order from directoil, I ordered from TotalButler 'cause they were cheaper - I just use direct oil to check daily prices, and have to say their prices are not bad. TotalButler was the only supplier in my area who could beat them.
I also like your site, so I'm not criticising you at all. Keep up the good work:TMaybe it's just me0 -

I order 500 litres of heating oil in November and was told it would take 10-15 working days to be delivered when this did not happen I contact go locate fuel and was told problem with supplier and that my order was considered of lower priority and I could pay £75 to make it high priority. I did not do this and was told I had to wait. I continued to contact them and nothing was being done, I was told the oil would not be here until the new year so when the new year came round I contact them again and was told it would take a further 6-8 weeks for delivery, I could not wait this long as I had no heating or hot water and my house was getting damp and mould was appearing, I needed the refund to buy oil from a real oil company. When I asked for a refund I was told that it would take 30 days so again had no choose but to wait, so when 20 days had passed I emailed Ben and asked him to confirm that I would have my money in the 10 days remaining, he ensured me that I would. 30 days passed and no refund so I emailed them again and no reply I contact them through the contact us link on the web page and no reply and I called the on the number on the website and it just ring and rings and aim now out of options. There are many people in this situation just type go locate fuel in to google and see the many complaints.0

It might be an idea to write to go locate and tell them that if you don't get your refund within 7 days, you'll start legal proceedings. Have you contacted trading standards?
Also, I'm wondering why they take the money in advance. With oil prices changing daily, how do they know how much it will be if they can't deliver for a few weeks. Other oil suppliers take the money on the day of delivery.0 -
Buying fuel theoretically in the futures market is as open to being a scam as buying currency supposedly in the futures market.

Hello, Call your bank and get your money back. Seems GLF have done a runner contact actionfraud.org.uk They will be able to give you a crime number which will get your refund from the bank a lot quicker.0 -
Yeah looks like their website is down. Gone for sure.
I wonder if it was meant to be a scam.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Just ordered 1000 litres from boilerjuice at 54.1.
Rang all the local places, including an oil buying group and tried direct oil, all were more expensive.
First time that's happened.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

I suspect they hadn't updated their systems this morning, although the world oil prices also shooting up, might have something to do with it.
It looks like we might be on for another rollercoaster of oil prices for a while then, which is why I rushed to sort mine out this morning.
Mind you I could be wrong.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0
