As this is likely based on MCC IDs, the food stores that are excluded, and part of a larger store, use their parent store's more general ID.
The included ones have a different MCC ID for the food halls.1 -
As I currently shop online with Iceland through Swagbucks - got the initial £15 with them and £10 with Top Cashback - I'm still ok to continue this way?
I'm assuming all that Nationwide will see is 'Iceland - £42.50' or whatever the figure is?0 -
Misleading Daily Express Newspaper article
Nationwide Building Society offering account with interest rate of 5% - plus £120 cashback
At £10 per month, this means Nationwide Building Society members could get £120 in cashback throughout the year.
ONLY RUNS FOR TWO AND HALF MONTHS

Might not be an issue for you but Aldi giftcards can only be used at manned checkouts.Newbie_John said:
It will work, only supermarket knows what you purchased, not card provider.surreysaver said:Suppose I could do a trial purchase of a gift card of, say, £10 with my NatWest Reward credit card and see if I get the full 1% cashback with that. If I do, chances are it will work with Nationwide
On the other hand, just seen Aldi giftcards in store, so it may be a good idea to purchase £200 and then use it for shopping.

Only surprise there is that anyone would describe the DE as a "newspaper".6 -
I suppose arguably you can earn £120 cashback. If I'm not mistaken you can have up to 4 Nationwide current accounts.35har1old said:Misleading Daily Express Newspaper articleNationwide Building Society offering account with interest rate of 5% - plus £120 cashback

4 accounts at £10/mth for the full offer period comes to £120. Though in order to get this amount you would need to spend £2.4k in supermarkets by the end of April.0 -
No. It’s just sloppy journalism.Bridlington1 said:

At least it is obvious, unlike some intentional fake news or misleading dramatic headlines purely for effect.1 -
I have not seen any definitive proof that if you have n accounts you can get n amounts of £10 cashback
May have missed it of course.0
