    Ah yes I recall.

POPLA Codes last 33 days from rejection date.
Firstly, I have a feeling of impending dread that I may have entered my registration number wrong afterall. I realised I have been reading my note on the back of my phone completely wrong and it may in fact be two letter wrong afterall. I've no idea how my brain didn't compute it not matching what is on the car : (

Secondly, I've just realised that one of my notices contains a 11 digit PCN number - I've fiddled with popla website and it keeps offering me a carpark in Dorset (which is no where near where I live). I'm really not sure what to do as today is the deadline.

I didn't think the POPLA website states the car park location.  Unless it has changed, I've never seen It do that and don't think the PCN number relates to the site or that POPLA's pages generate a car park...?

You aren't putting the PCN number in when you should be putting the POPLA Code in on page one, are you?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'll have to check this afternoon when I get home. Is it really bad if I have missed the deadline? I never normally wait for a deadline to anything!

It's only POPLA. less than a 50:50 chance you would win anyway. If unsuccessful, you carry on with your life as normal and see if they send you an LoC within 6 years. As per Newbies/FAQ, you just ignore all demand letters and debt collector threats with false added costs.

The POPLA code will no longer work from day 34.

Right well I don't know what number I was entering but I've just tried again and its worked! The letter was exactly the same as the first one so I'm guessing the outcome would be the same either way.

In the case of the first appeal they've sent a load of 'evidence' and requested that I provide comments

    Pictured evidence

Am I doomed because I feel like I am?

    Never doomed!

You don't PAY, even if you lose at the self-serving POPLA .  If you are now on day 33 get that second POPLA appeal in because the code will stop working in the wee hours of day 34.

Those links don't work.  Can you just copy the images here in a reply?

NB: we DO NOT need Beavis!!

  • I've submited the appeal - its the same as the first one. I'm thinking I should have made better use of the information I was given in the Response to popla but there isnt much I can do now.

I will copy the images into the thread tomorrow. I couldnt remember how I did it : ( my brain is fried atm.

Those links worked for me. However, I think I now have enough information about the OP to steal their identity, if I had been that way inclined.

@Top_Drawer you need to redact those images of all your correspondence ASAP.
You wouldn't need to steal it, I'll gladly give it to you. You'll need to finish up the thesis though and the other 193 things that need to be done before Sunday : s

I'll edit the redacted photographs in to the thread asap : /
