Even if the landowner won't cancel it, no paying nasty ex-clampers CEL!  Obviously you'll have noticed we do court cases every day here and it's very easy to defend if they try a small claim.

Now I've got passed the annoyance that this taking me away from other things I'd rather be doing, I'm rather enjoying having a deep dive into the legal arguements. Once I get my thesis out of the way, I may have found a new hobby. I hated the playground bullies at school and this has really provoked something similar in me.

Totally with you. I enjoy punching these bullies on the nose regularly.  Did it again in court this week (different PPC) - story to follow separately.

So I have a picture of the tablet response to putting the wrong registration number into the device - is this worth mentioning in my popla appeal? It does look convincing in saying 'A permit has been issued for Reg XC00 000' it's only when you see someone else putting a correct one in that you notice it actually tells you the type of car that has been registered. To me this seems very misleading.

I haven't heard anything back from the landowner although I attended the centre earlier this week, the manager made a huge point of ignoring me. The deadline for my popla appeal is tomorrow so I guess I'm going to have to go ahead and submit it.

The deadline for your POPLA Appeal is not tomorrow if that's only day 28. POPLA codes last until day 33, trust us.

Yes, state the above - your words above - in your POPLA Appeal and embed a DATED/TIMED screenshot of that photo as evidence into your Word doc POPLA appeal (obviously it gets saved as a PDF before you upload it).

Did CEL recognise this as a major keying error and offer to settle for £20?  If not then that's a BPA CoP breach and you must state this at the start. That wins POPLA Appeals.

I received the letter refusing my first appeal on the 16th February, the original notice was issued on 25/01 (and 30/01) for incidents occurring on 17th and 24th January.

CEL responded in the appeal stating that this was a major keying error and offered to settle for £20 - but I feel that this is in fact a minor keying error as I don't see how I could have got more than one letter incorrect (I have a zero and I *think* I entered a o instead). They didn't provide the evidence as requested so I can't judge properly.

I haven't heard anything from the swimming centre, not even so much as an acknowledgement - it will be Day 33 on Tuesday so I'll submit my appeal as directed : s
