Also my chase card has arrived so once I've had time to load some money on it at least I'll earn cash back!

I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here @NeverendingDMP but couldn't your partner do more? You are the maypole around which everyone dances but you need some me-time too or else the whole thing collapses, no?! Always enjoy your updates love Humdinger xx

You are very correct and no it's not out of turn. I'm working on this. His hrs are longer at work than mine but honestly by the time you factor in collection and dropping off of children and the stuff he doesn't do around the house compared to me it's an ongoing issue. Of which at times I'm quite vocal. Baby steps so far but I try! My sit down time I'd far too late at night so I'm always tired. Kids need to help more too. I'm working on that as well. I don't want the kids to grow up leaving everything to one person!

Bought a sandwich for dinner which is fail number one. Have been to four different places since I bought it and I'm minus a sandwich. Oh dear. Double fail.
Some days it just goes a bit wrong doesn't it

Oh no!  How frustrating.  We do all have those days.  Hope today is better.

Today has been better so far. Yesterday stayed naff as it also involved dishwasher leaking all over the kitchen floor. Thankfully I spotted it as it was happening so aside from needing to wash every towel in the house and at some point fix the dishwasher it wasn't as bad as it could have been

Oh no!  Hope it's not a big fix.

Thanks jwil although it's off the radar till we have some cash. Cash flow is a problem here at the moment as is savings. Almost summer hols. Gonna have to make them cheap as chips. Kids wanted to buy posh chocs for teachers. I was tight and said a bar of chocolate. They deserve it but I also know a teacher would prefer kids had money at home than a pressie. And they understand how many kids I have in school lol.
