Enquired about a job I saw that was advertised as part time but no details on how many hrs. Got a reply today and the contracted hrs were good and it Sounded interesting but 8am starts and unable to get wraparound care to get me there in time with it's location. Ah well I'll keep looking. My own job still exists for the time being so no pressure yet. I've saved the application so can copy and paste parts of it in the future.
I've got a few hrs on bank this week helping the admin team catch up. Six hrs. Not much by time it's taxed etc but it will pay for a blazer so it's all good.
In other news it is raining constantly and I think the whole summer may be a wash out.
I've logged into the new views bank survey site which looks like it's had an upgrade. It's recognised my old details and I've done a few welcome surveys and have twelve pounds pot that will cash out in a few weeks.
If anyone can recommend any other survey sites that I can sign up to feel free. Even little and often with an occasional cash out would do me.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

I signed up for Prolific a couple of months ago and have "earned" over £100 and didn't actually do many last month as was on holiday for the whole month. I'm up to just under £50 for this month with nearly £2 waiting to clear. I'm going to cash out in the morning.
I know that quite a few people on MSE use Prolific and that in some areas you need to join a waiting list but I was lucky and was able to join straightaway. Well worth trying.1 -
Thanks I'll have a look. Viewsbank is a slow earner. I only ever cashed out once or twice a year but I didn't waste a lot of time or effort either so have found it fair.
In 2019 I did the make 2019 pounds in 2019 challenge. Looked for all varieties of cash backs, surveys worked two extra jobs etc. It's surprising what the extras add up to. And I managed the target.
Maybe I'll log my cashback from chase, Santander and any extra earnings from now till year end. Extra earnings will be slight as this is a rarity whilst they are short staffed but I'll grab it while I can. Will be interested to see what it adds up to. And once you are adding it up it does actually encourage you to look for the small wins.
My Asda rewards account has about forty quid in it too. Although I'm not sure that isn't linked to prices being higher so they can reduce them again as a gimmick 😂Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Prolific was full so I'm on the waiting list. Have signed up to three others. I've done some surveys with them so far. I'm waiting to see if I get to just before cashing out then get nothing else before I name or suggest them. 😂
Bank hrs have been done before DH goes to work. Would Not really worth the travel for a couple of hrs but as a one off its ideal. Enough earned for highschool pe top. Well when I'm paid !!Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Low spend yesterday and I got my monthly interest from my chase account. I've not had interest in any account for years so it was a bit of a novelty. All 16 pence of it.
I've got a weekly spends account with them, a pot that accrues cashback (1%) for first 12 months and a savings account with my round ups in. I thought 16p interest was lovely considering I'm working with low level numbers.
Just over 40 left till Friday. True budget in disarray but I'm determined to follow the food/petrol/activity budget in chase each week whilst I fix up the rest.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Prolific is the best by far. I've ditched most of mine but still use one poll which is good as long as I remember to check regularly."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Thanks jwill I'm.on the waiting list. I've earned a fiver from another site but not naming them till it appears in my PayPal. And I've got the 16 from viewsbank due to land next week. I've done 6.5 hrs bank this week so when that's paid it will cover the cost of a blazer and pe shorts. -they had a good giggle at work that I was working my overtime out in clothing.
I'm still using chase app..I've got 60 quid to last till next Friday, this is to cover petrol, top up shops and activities. I've decided I'm moving any left over each week into a slush fund. I then start with the same amount to spend that week again each Friday. I've also reworked out monthly budget as eldest no longer has childcare. For the first time ever I will have a budget that allocates 50 a month to e fund and 50 a month to a slush fund.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213
