Just checked my account and got the first payment yesterday [17th Apr] and my DDs are of the non-paying kind on a couple of credit cards. So payments aren't what counts to meet the conditions of the offer.

Is there an option to set an alert (text or email) when my balance goes over my £100 interest free overdraft?

I have them for other accounts with no overdraft (so get an alert when balance goes below £0) but it the above an option?

I got this today which isn’t quite what you’re asking but it does show that alerts are sent. I don’t recall setting this up so it’s probably an automatic thing.

I have the Spend and Save and got the reward on March 8th and April 11th.

TSB TopCashback £30.30 went payable for me today from February. I think they could have delayed until August, so it's about a month early for me.

So did mine.  

However, according to the TCB terms, strictly speaking as I already had another TSB current account I shouldn't have been eligible so a definite bonus as far as I'm concerned.  Now only 2 more months to do the 5 debit card payments each month and then hopefully another £75.

Managed to open a/cs yesterday by using the Microsoft Edge browser. Using firefox was giving "technical problems" near the end of the applications.

You might find those failed applications generated a hard search, I think that's what happened to me when I opened my account in February. It doesn't seem like their systems have been improved in that time then.

FYI - just spoke to TSB on the phone about this switch offer. I asked about whether the debit card transactions can be made using Apple Pay or whether you have to use the physical debit card. The person on the phone told me you have to use the physical debit card to get the switch bonuses.
