The account is up and running okay.I did have an email from them a while ago telling me that I needed to upload ID but the reference they gave me didn’t work.I therefore contacted them about it and after a few minutes I was told that it was sent in error and I should ignore it. I’ve had a current account with them before (long enough ago that I am due the bonus).Today I’ve received an email from them as below:
Your current account application has expired We dropped you a line a few days ago to let you know that time was running out to complete your current account application. As we didn’t hear from you, your application has now expired.
Being as the account is operational I don’t think that there will be a problem but I’ll contact them tomorrow (presuming they’re available on Sundays) has anyone else had anything similar?
When you applied for your account did your application get stuck part way through and you had to start again? These emails will relate to the 'dummy run' which doesn't disappear but stays in the system. The last time I applied for a TSB account it took me 5 attempts before successfully completing and I received 4 sets of similar emails. Thay are safe to ignore.0 -
Couple of questions:
1. The S+S Plus account has only been opened a couple of weeks (so not switched/been doing transactions etc) but they have already charged me a partial monthly fee - I thought it would be like Natwest where the first month they don't charge?
2. How do I turn off all paper correspondence? I can't see anything in the app.

Has anyone received their switch bonus or do we have to wait until the 21st of April?0

To be a bit lazy and not reread the whole thread, can someone who knows please restate how long it took to merge two online accounts, when someone opens the Spend & Save but already has an account?0

So I can do transactions etc but cannot 'manage' (i.e. do things like freeze the card) my new debit card. It just isn't there in the card section of the app, though the existing account card is.
I did ring to ask why and just got told it'll take '9 days' to merge online accounts, a nonsense statement as I had already pointed out it was, by then, over 9 days and anyway the accounts were already merged. It's now been over 9 days since that call - another one is looming....1 -
Anyone received their switch bonus yet or we thinking it'll be close towards the April deadline?0
