Thanksyes I do, but you can only have DD on their regular savings and no easy access. Alo there is minimum £25 deposit through DD, check out their website for more info, they have also increased their rates which is good. Others are mentioned quite often - Moneybox, Plum and also onepounddd. You can check out this post on MSE - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5734632/savings-accounts-accepting-dds/p1
Not sure, may be mistaken. I remeber getting a letter from them about increase in their interest rates few months back, dont remeber exactly when as I did not pay attention as I am only using them for DD. I just logged into my account and shows 2.85% which is matching with the current rates that they are offering, so might be this only.

When is the £5 cashback paid? I just opened the account and did the debit card transactions on 28 Feb but they are showing as debited on 1 March, so I'm guessing these will count as March and I've missed Feb?0

The £5 cashback will be paid before the 20th of the following month and yes your debit card transactions will count on the date taken from your account

I opened TSB and Co-op on the 1st February
I received my £125 from Co-op yesterday but no sign of TSB
What would be the timescale for TSB ?

I've chosen to take the least liberal interpretation of the T&Cs; open doner account, set up 2 new direct debits, wait until both direct debits have paid out, initiate switch to TSB. Easier to play by the rules I find, less room for ambiguity.
However having only noticed this thread a couple days ago, it doesn't give me enough time to move a direct debit over to a sacrificial account, have it in place ready & then switch.
In short I've missed the boat but it is what it is. Hopefully I spot the next one in good time.Given that you already have got TSB qualifying AC and an account to switch. You could still catch the cruise ship if you are using a high speed boat to catch it. It just takes about 1-2 weeks to set up DDs on Paypal, Plum, Moneybox. The deadline is"By 24 March 2023 you must do all of the following:
2. complete a full switch to your new TSB Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account using the Current Account Switch Service. A full switch means you need to transfer all active credits and debits from your old account and close it. This must include a minimum of two active Direct Debits
3. make a minimum of one payment using the debit card on your new Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account
4. log into the TSB Mobile Banking App at least once
5. have a minimum of 2 active Direct Debits on your new Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account. If you’ve done all these things we’ll pay £125 cashback into your new Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account by 21 April 2023."0 -
Anyone having trouble using the TSB app for the first time?
I just got my activation code through the post today.
Tried to log in, got as far as creating a password (after inputting the activation code) and the app wouldn't let me enter the password a second time to confirm it!
I closed the app down (on Android phone) and thought I'd try it on my new iPhone...but its not liking my activation code I think, message says its either been used or is incorrect ?
Do I need to request a new activation code?
Is it easier to log in for the first time on the website rather than the app?
Thank you for all replies0 -

I asked for another activation code. Took a few days to come but had no problems the second time.
Hope that helps.

I switched to TSB for the bonus and everything went smoothly. The account is up and running okay.I did have an email from them a while ago telling me that I needed to upload ID but the reference they gave me didn’t work.I therefore contacted them about it and after a few minutes I was told that it was sent in error and I should ignore it. I’ve had a current account with them before (long enough ago that I am due the bonus).Today I’ve received an email from them as below:
Your current account application has expired We dropped you a line a few days ago to let you know that time was running out to complete your current account application. As we didn’t hear from you, your application has now expired.
Being as the account is operational I don’t think that there will be a problem but I’ll contact them tomorrow (presuming they’re available on Sundays) has anyone else had anything similar?0 -

When you applied for your account did your application get stuck part way through and you had to start again? These emails will relate to the 'dummy run' which doesn't disappear but stays in the system. The last time I applied for a TSB account it took me 5 attempts before successfully completing and I received 4 sets of similar emails. Thay are safe to ignore.1
