Still sadly on NSD #1. Supermarket shopping today - but I managed to get a good L*dl £1.50 box, and the total spend including dog food, beer for OH and some items for the food bank trolley as well as the groceries, toiletries and cleaning stuff on my list came to less than £50.Use up meals today, soup for lunch and OH made fish cakes for dinner, using tinned fish and some leftover mashed potato.Exercise was the dog walk - not far today as dog was cold (and so was I) but what we lacked in distance today, was made up for in speed, as he raced round his favoured shorter cold weather routeSome decluttering wins today - a box of books went off to z*ffit, and I sold some bulky items that had taken root in the dining room on FB marketplace. The books should net me just over £10 and the other items sold for £25, so all good.Grateful today for getting rid of unwanted stuff, a good veg box from L*dl, and the leaves of the spring bulbs appearing despite the fact that we have freezing weather again.9

Hugs @beanielou - an elderly relative of mine told me good underlay and carpets were an investment in the future. Hope you are not too bruised and out of sorts.Today I am grateful for achieving some things that have been on the list since December; for motivation coming and sticking around all day; for a lovely, albeit freezing cold, walk in sunshine (the bird bath did not thaw today at all) and for meeting the postie who told me his postie-mate had left the parcel behind the bin (on bin day!); for hitting my steps target; and for an easy fix on the living room curtain pull system (finally getting the hang of this!!).4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

NSD 4.
DD isn't feeling great, hopefully a night's sleep will perk her up but she is very ready for half term.
I have a list for tomorrow which I have no hope of finishing but will see how far I can get. Wish me luck!

NSD#5
Had a powercut yesterday, & when I reset my alarm clock, I must've nudged the volume button, so I didn't hear it go off! Only half an hour late, was having a very vivid dream, so woke with a start when DH told me the time. Hence to say that no yoga was done!
Work went ok. Health week and his week, so a lady from up the road came in to do Zumba. We got glow in the dark paint & glow sticks 😃 I was able to join in for half of it until I had to administer first aid. Didn't get to join in the tai chi afterwards. Training after work was cancelled, so me & my work bestie went for a walk. Saw a Heron on the beach at the other end of town.
Practiced Norwegian when I got home & caught up with messages/emails. Chatted with DS1, he thanked me for my support. After tea I shortened two pairs of trousers, laughed at a programme about Open All Hours, then went in the bath.
Grateful for a nice walk before the storm returns tomorrow, getting something off my chest (just hoping there's no comeback from it 🤞), helping a friendUse it up, wear it out

Tomorrow is only a few hours away thank goodness... and the next day isn't that far away either.
OH has Norovirus, work has been a headache today, and I've been unable to properly sanitise the house... I am dreading the thought of DS getting this horrible bug.
Grateful today for having a spare bedroom, for chat online with colleagues, that DS is at school, and that OH seems to not be as ill as I was.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸9 -
Evening turtlesHad a long day at work yesterday and am still ill with cough/cold/sinus pain so by the time I got home I had a banging headache and just wanted to relax. Been a week and a half now and still not feeling normal.Today was my non-working day. Had to pop to the GP for a blood test so walked there and back, was very fresh but a good 45 minute walk altogether which I enjoyed. Shopping delivery came, which included some sinus medication and paracetamol (thank goodness!). As it was a spend day I also topped up my oyster card and hired a carpet cleaner for one of my days off next week. That'll come out of my household pot, it's something OH and I want to keep on top of now that we have nice carpets! Bought £50 worth of premium bonds as well.Haven't done too much else as still under the weather, did some batch cooking and reading, fell asleep on the sofa for a bit but all in all I got done everything that needed doing.11
