Today I am grateful for a fab walk in the crisp morning air, for a lovely email from one of dc's teachers, for dc willingly doing their hwk, for bumping into 3 people I know while out and about, for my book.

Huge hugs to everyone that is feeling poorly/overwhelmed or just bleurgh. 
Grateful for; 
1. Being 2 coats away on woodwork until painting is finished in 1st bedroom.
2. Birdsong in the morning.
3. Fresh pineapple (I keep forgetting how delicious it is)

I feel still flu-y but made it to work. DH was bedridden again. So unusual for him. Definitely some bad bugs going around.

Today I'm grateful for the lovely lady from IT who sorted my issue promptly and was very friendly, DH being on the mend, and DS getting more adventurous with food (he tries more things now and liked the Chinese curry tonight, minus the veg though).

Just popping by to claim NSD #2

Felt a bit bleurrgh today, fed up with freezing fog which we seem to get every morning. Plus the water people have dug a huge hole in our terrace's access to our garages and parking, so having to park the car outside on the road (wherever we can find a space) and de- ice it if we want to go out, and then worry about where to park it when we get back. Not much progress on 'the hole' either, as they only seem to work for about 4 hours each day.... looks like it will be a long job!  Very much first world problems I know, but annoying all the same.

DD rang this afternoon and said she was coming over with the kids after school as she is having flooring laid in her house and has had to move everything. She, her OH and the kids turned up, and I stretched the meal I had planned for OH and I to feed all 4 adults and did pasta for the children. We played cluedo, which was fun. They left at about 6.30 to get the children ready for bed, and shortly afterwards, OH's niece rang and invited us to her wedding, which was exciting. So quite an eventful day!

Grateful today for family fun, naan pizzas and coleslaw for everyone, and having enough of everything. Still not grateful for fog and The Hole though!

B - Budget- Reviewed my accounts, all as it should be and brought one of my pots up to date.

R - Rules - Kept heating low and dried washing on airer.

U - Unburden - nothing here today.

A - Advanced planning, changed plans for holidays this year.

R - Refuel - No alcohol, not great sleep, sticking to slim quick 

Y - You - self care - Been following slimquick and finding it suits me.  So went to Bargains for the home and bought more shakes, meal bars & snacks all for ME.

2 - 2 trips out - Planned ✅

0 - 100 days -On track  

2 - Read 2 books - Not today

3 - Gratitudes x 3 - DS feeling better, Bargains for things I wanted, Productive work day.

Still 4/15 NSDs

NSD 5, lunches made for tomorrow and dinner tonight was free. 
More painting done- will need a second coat at the weekend and then a second colour on the remaining wall. Slowly getting round the house. 
A couple of jumpers into a bag for leaving the house. One I was given by someone else and it takes forever to dry so I avoid wearing it so no point in it taking up space. Slowly, slowly but eventually everything in the house will be wanted. 
DD has a cough but feels OK so hoping it doesn't get worse.

Today has been eventful.  Operation Bugg3r 0ff Dave is in full swing Another (free) trap has been ordered to join the 3 we already have.

I moved the entire kitchen round today -even the fridge freezer - from one wall, to the opposite one.  then scrubbed the floor with antibac stuff, cleaned the hob, spent hours folding laundry, tiny shop done with leftover money - more ys bargains nabbed.

Brrrr! how cold is it tonight???  and so  I am grateful for warm candles, for my book, and for having a DH who can cook.

Cor blimey, another hoolie is being blown out there tonight!! 🤞we don't end up in Oz by the morning, I don't have any red shoes! 😂

Didn't sleep well last night, didn't help our cat had heard something in our bedroom walk, so stood on my eyeball & woke me up, trying to scramble across the pillows... Then she was jumping from our bed to the windowsill & back again. She's a rather rotund cat, though doesn't eat a huge amount, so felt like an elephant taking off & landing. The bedroom door WILL BE CLOSED tonight.
A different morning at work, due to staff illness. A tense start to the afternoon, but it ended very well 😃 Dashed home as DS1 had brought mum over for her birthday tea. A man she used to work with called in with items to make 4 memory bears, so they had a laugh & a catch up. DH cooked us a delicious tea - steak & chips with fried mushrooms & peas, followed by rhubarb crumble & ice cream 😋 I've just taken mum back to town. Lots of water on the roads & car being blown all over the place.

Grateful for my hat not being blown onto the roof of the school (unlike a colleague's), karma coming into fruition, celebrating mum's birthday

Yesterday was NSD 5. Quite a boring day, I don’t have anything to report really! All food was from stores.  

day 3 of no coffee and day 3/100 writing, reading, Spanish practice and splits challenge done. 

Grateful for managing without coffee and for resisting chocolate as well although it was in my face all day (oh how my life is devoid of pleasure right now) and for doing better with NSDs than last month.
