Can I switch to lloyd silver if I have a lloyds basic for the £200

No. I you've got more than one account at Halifax, including savings by the sound of it, only the actual bank account you're applying with will be transferred, and the other accounts and balances stay separate where they were.

The half fax current account will close and the savers account will remain open?

How can you register as 'a new Lloyd member' when you already have an account with them? It has literally been spelled out for you what you need to do.

I'm trying to do it from my Lloyds app however I'm afraid they won't ask me to 'switch' instead just upgrade or add new without switching

But you do need to upgrade first don't you?

And to switch only after upgrading.

Scroll down to 'I Have a Lloyds Bank current account' and click on 'Complete the Switching form'

I clicked on switch tab and it took me to a page where it told me to put in my sc, acc number, last 5 digits of my Halifax bank and thats it

It didn't tell me what product I wanted 

Then it finished 

I did also try using the link and it said it the end there is a problem with our systems

I went in and saying I'm not eligible because I hold a basic account 

Unless I close this account

However all my DD, wages go into my Halifax
