plumduff55 , you are brilliant and fearless! I love your colour choices. I did a temperature blanket a few years ago. I did mine in a chevron pattern, so just row a day of trebles. I really like your vintage crochet blanket; well done for still having it.
Soontobeoap , I’d put up pics, but I can’t figure it out. I used to be able to do it when I used flickr but I got fed up loading pics in there first! What a clever idea you had for your duvet repair – it’s lovely.
Cupcakecraftscuddlycanine, I’m intrigued by those playing card favours and I’m looking forward to seeing them.
Thanks, old_fogey Somehow I don’t think I’ll be close to that this year. It’s ridiculous just how much stash I’ve accumulated, even allowing for me being an old biddy, lol.
sammy_kaye18 love your wee robin. I’ve been doing a tapestry cat for a few years now (oops) – apart from last year when I didn’t touch it. I like to do it in good daylight, never in the evening, and I just can’t seem to fit it in. And it’s a boring bit just now. That peg bag will make you smile every time you use it 😊
Stashbuster , your tops are great. I am really, really impressed with the neatness of the binding on the grey star top.
Hi, Gromit38 , I’m sure that charm square quilt will look great on No1 kid’s bed, so get a move on!
Oh, emsi-b , you have been a busy b!
Katiehound, it seems like you have an endless supply of duvets to fill those doggy beds, you make so many of them.
I really like your solution for filling your draught excluder, daisy.
Well my total has leapt up by a massive .... 1! That's the second wee jumper done.
In February I plan to get another wee jumper done, make a cover for the cat's carrier (ours is like a metal cage and there's no hiding from the rain . We've had it for almost 30 years and through 4 cat incarnations and I'd never thought of doing this before.) I'll also make a nice wee comfy cushion to fit. As for cards, there's Valentine's day, a couple of birthdays and I really should start on Christmas cards! That makes my target for the month at least 10, but hoping for 17.
Thanks everyone, for all the support and inspiration you provide to everyone on this thread.

@sammy_kaye18 i just love your peg nag. I have one on my to do list bit it is never going to be as lovely as that. 😊
Cleared out my wool shelf in the cupboard. Bagged up 3 bags of 3 100g balls for craft group. Decluttered and put back in 10 full bags of double knit so doesnt look much emptier but i know it is.
Crafting has stopped a bit this week as I have been on phone all week trying to sort out our courtesy car with insurance companys.
Neighbour has handed over her cards for me to recycle into new ones for her.
To do list :-
Make neighbour christmas cards and finish mine.
Finish fingerless gloves started 2 years ago ( found in cupboard)
Finish tabard jumper started 3 years ago!!!
Make peg bag.

Hi, Absolutely nothing done this week as I've had this cold/stomach bug that's doing it's rounds. This is my first day back in the land of the living. I was looking forward to going to granddaughters 3rd birthday party on Saturday but there's no way I'll be able to make the journey as my stomach is still iffy and I'm feeling exhausted. It won't take much energy knitting so I'm hoping to start the waistcoat asap 🤪. It's made up from 3 different patterns - the basket weave from one, the body from another and the edgings from a third. So 🤞
@sammy_kaye18 I really love your peg bag - it's so cheerful
@Soontobeoap That's some list you've got - you're going to be busy
Happy crafting xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

My little robin is making progress although I didnt do any last night as I wasnt feeling very well with a horrible headache and the fact I fell over in my now mud pit of a garden thanks to two zoomy hounds! I did sit and make a seed box yesterday though as I was very garden focused after my fall (Im 38 now and I dont seem to bounce as well as I use to!) so they are now put in a tub, listed etc but I do need to spend some time in the garden once this weather / frost / rain clears and make progress there so for now Ill focus on sorting house and indoor crafting so I wont feel like Im letting it slip once I move outside!
Time to find me again6 -
@sammy_kaye18 great peg bag! Doesn't matter if the sewing isn't perfect, you finished it and it is functional, and it looks great.
@greentiger well done on finishing the jumper
@soontobeoap you are brave doing a todo list. Mine would be too long and depressing.
@plumduff55 I hope you are feeling 100% soon.

Its not brave @old_fogey, it keeps me accountable. I dont want to tell you all that I havnt achieved my goals 😂😅. My list is much longer too. Thats just the beginning. Trouble is whilst clearing out crafting areas I am discovering more unfinished work than I had remembered. I am always believing that I can make/alter something to wear only to get half way. Well now I have decided that it is ditch it or make do and mend/finish it!! Watch this space! I love the patterns tou have made with your stitching for tablet case.
Hope you feel better soon @plumduff55
I am the same @Sammy_Kaye18 when spring comes gardening starts and there is much less crafting done.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Hi all, can I join? I don't have a stash as such, but I do have a large cross stitch I bought to complete & frame as a present to a friend.
I think I did like an hour of work on it so far 2 years ago!! Her birthday is in November, so I need accountability to get it done!
I do have a small stash of wool I'd like to use up, but no plans as such for it yet. My crochet talents are limited to simple granny squares, and I can't knit, so I'd like to develop those skills.
But the cross stitch first!Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

@greentiger, if you are taking your pictures on a smart phone and accessing MSE on it as well then just press the little picture icon (top right of the answer box with what looks like stylised mountains.) press choose files, then picture library and press on the photo you want to attach, select add and hey presto! Robert’s your uncle, aunt, whatever 🤷♀️.

A few to report today! I have made a birthday card for my son's classmate, two notebooks and I've done some calligraphy practice tonight too
Inspired by all your suggestions, I thought I'd give it a whirl. I've only managed to perfect notes and mum, all lowercase but I've got plans for those.
