I earned the first 20 quite quick. Mainly as I needed the money and played what felt like all day for a few days. I'm up to 4.50 again but I can see it being a cash out every few months as you do have to play a lot to earn anything. I keep seeing mistplay on the adverts it makes me watch 😂 I'm learning to like playing some of the games but I'm not usually a game player and with work, kids, house and endless homework have never really had the time. It's an untapped source of money though and all helps the cause.craftingmad said:
Yay for 20% of the ipad fundNeverendingDMP said:Update from me. I'm at 20% of my savings target (school iPad fund) my other accounts are in turmoil, I still owe u credit and I also owe another 1000 in c cards. Been a chaotic couple of months! I've decided to hold strong and keep the money in this savings account. The extra has come from cashing in some shares I had -all £24 of them and from testing computer games/apps on my phone. I've earned £20 from playing games via the tester up? app. It's v time consuming and I'm not normally a gamer but it's given me 2% of my target. 😂
I've not tried testerup but I use mistplay and that is also slow going but I figure I'd be playing games anyway so I may as well get a little little bit for my time. However it now seems to take me about 6 months to earn a £5 amazon voucher

Sounds like a good plan xC cards and other stuff I've decided to look at more when the latest batch of work on the house and the dreaded Xmas have finished. Ill reassess the damage then.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Neverending, the roof sounds worrying, but a flat roof seems to be a real pain to repair, maybe normal roof will be easier. Any extra income is brilliant in my books.
Crafting, well done, woo hoo, getting there already.
I think you should be able to request more hrs in the day!!Sept 24 : £32000 Aug catch up - £11436

Thanks the roof is a small job but if that doesn't solve the damp patch it's needle in a. Haystack time. We also have a flat area of roof but as yet that's not been causing any problems. More hrs in the day would deffo help at this point.Highlanddream said:Neverending, the roof sounds worrying, but a flat roof seems to be a real pain to repair, maybe normal roof will be easier. £ 294.70 wages from cafe
£ 402.18 BTL1 mortgage payment which is now paid off so it goes into our savings
£ 6.00 FB Marketplace sale
________
£ 702.88
So my total now currently stands at £2797.48/£37552 = 7.44%
I'm getting there slowly it feels like.
I am currently listing items on FB Marketplace and really hoping I can sell some things before I have to resort to donating or throwing them away in order to make some much needed space in the house for Christmas.
I just need to find a few more hours in the day so I can get on with my grand money making plans

Its not great owning your own property some days is it Neverending. Fingers crossed that the repair will solve your issue. I too have a flat roof on some of my property and it has been the bain in our lives (even more expensive than the kids sometimes!).
Well done Highland on your expected Debt Free date - nearly a year earlier than planned is a fantastic achievement.
We too will not be putting as much into the pot over the next couple of months - especially as hubby has just had a £6K tax bill come through!! Apparently it is not enough that he pays 40% tax on all his earnings already

Morning all,
My willpower is sadly lacking at the moment but I did get a mice surprise when I logged onto my bank today as I had forgotten it is payday for two of my jobs
That means I have added £585.89 from those into the savings account today along with £70 from a FB Marketplace sale of some crafting supplies and tools I had never used and managed to tell myself it was time to let go
So my total now currently stands at £3453.37/£37552 = 9.18%
Fingers crossed I might hit the 10% mark soon - there is something about being in double figures which makes it feel like you have so much more

70% for me today, woo hoo. Paid off a card that has taken forever to clear. Only a card and one loan left. It will be slow going until Feb now but wanted to to be under 10000 before Xmas
I bought a bottle of wine to celebrate, first one for ages as I figure that's another £10 to my debts lol. Sept 24 : £32000 Aug catch up - £11436
