Update from me. I'm at 20% of my savings target (school iPad fund) my other accounts are in turmoil, I still owe u credit and I also owe another 1000 in c cards. Been a chaotic couple of months! I've decided to hold strong and keep the money in this savings account. The extra has come from cashing in some shares I had -all £24 of them and from testing computer games/apps on my phone. I've earned £20 from playing games via the tester up? app. It's v time consuming and I'm not normally a gamer but it's given me 2% of my target. 😂
Well done about your 20% Neverending. It gutting about the c cards but I know the feeling. Christmas is scary. Good one about the games testing, every little helps and does add up. Have you tried Prolific for some extra income?

C cards and other stuff I've decided to look at more when the latest batch of work on the house and the dreaded Xmas have finished. Ill reassess the damage then.
Sounds like a plan. New year and all that.

Thanks. Yes far too many things going on here all at once. Damp patch so need patch up job on the roof, neednthe toilet replacing, lost car keys and more, more more . Sometimes you just got to roll with it and regroup later down the line!

I think prolific was one I tried to sign up to but I didn't get on. Was full up or something. I'll have another look. I do views bank which is a slow one but I normally cash out twice a year at £12 each time and it all adds up in the end doesn't it.

I've been able to cash out approx £6 an evening on there, definitely worth a go again. I am quite shocked, a lot better than Yougov which took forever to get to £50. You have got a lot going on, and everything costs so much now, things like the roof are horrible :( Is it a flat section of roof?

Yay for 20% of the ipad fund :)

I've not tried testerup but I use mistplay and that is also slow going but I figure I'd be playing games anyway so I may as well get a little little bit for my time. However it now seems to take me about 6 months to earn a £5 amazon voucher :( NeverendingDMP said:

I can finally declare a bit more added to the retirement fund - it feels like ages since I last added anything!

    £ 294.70 wages from cafe
£ 402.18 BTL1 mortgage payment which is now paid off so it goes into our savings
    £     6.00 FB Marketplace sale
    ________
    £ 702.88

So my total now currently stands at £2797.48/£37552 = 7.44%  <3

I'm getting there slowly it feels like.

I am currently listing items on FB Marketplace and really hoping I can sell some things before I have to resort to donating or throwing them away in order to make some much needed space in the house for Christmas.

I just need to find a few more hours in the day so I can get on with my grand money making plans ;)

No it's the normal bit of our roof and our hallway has a massive damp patch. The quote isn't much but it's more the what if it's not that, that's causing the problem worry. It's not a massive expense but it's not ideal timing if you get what I mean.
