    Morning all.

I've transferred £151.20 today from my chip shop wages into the savings pot so this takes my total now to £20323.25/£47300 = 42.96%

Creeping up slowly to 43% :)

Your doing well. My efforts have stalled. I've got a tiny bit of bank work this week and a 16 pounds cash out due from survey's due but a broken kitchen appliance and a high school.uniform and three pairs of school shoes to buy before sept.  And DH gave me less than usual for household pot cos he's overspent. So I'm behind by about 100 quid before I start. Ah well. 4 % will happen eventually

Aww hugs to you. It's so hard juggling the school uniform buying isn't it. I feel blessed that my school uniform buying days have just ended now that my youngest starts college in September.

You have still paid off 3% of your debt which is a fantastic achievement and is 3% you no longer have to pay so be proud of yourself and celebrate that achievement because you deserve too x

Very true and thanks for the reassurance after my moan. I think the fact I had half the uniform saved for and DH giving me 100 less has just made me grumpy. Not the first time his bad budgeting has upset the system. My budgeting isn't ace by a long shot but when you are running tight finances it's not so easy to cut back to make it ok. I'm ranting again anyway I've worked out if I transfer my Xmas savings 112 to cover the shortfall it keeps me from being overdrawn so no fees. And I've got a chase account for weekly spends so that will accrued cashback which is a bonus. The highschool uniform is looking to cost me 250 not including coats, shoes, trainers bags or equipment like calculators etc. The govt rule about being able to buy non branded doesn't appear to apply to anything but trousers . Locally all the schools are the same, with others nearby having branded pants too.

The cost of bringing up 3 kids must be huge @NeverendingDMP
I would have loved more but we were only blessed with one but I always think how expensive things must be for those with more than one.
    I’m now up to £980/£4955 repaid I.e 19.78%

I have just transferred my chippy wages into the OP savings pot (£156.60) together with £29.65 from Royal Mail refunds for lost items (I never used to claim but do now so am adding these amounts to my pot) and £10 from NSD's for the last couple of days.

My total now stands at £20519.50/£47300 = 43.38%

I feel like I have made such slow progress these last few weeks but I am happy to have reached the 43% mark.
Hopefully next week I will be able to add a little bit more as I am due my Etsy payout for July. It's only around £100 as its been so slow but at least it is still money to add and will move me up around another 0.2% :)

I'm going to really try and step up my business again to try and bring more cash for the pot over the winter months as I have a feeling my chippy wages will either stop or decrease dramatically sadly !

    Sorry its me again ;)

Progress feels very slow at the moment but I have just transferred my Etsy earnings for July into the OP savings pot so £143.30 has been added to the total.

    That takes me to £20662.80/£47300 = 43.68%

The 0.1% are making a difference but I really want to reach the 50% mark and feel like it is still so far away  :(

You will get there. We all have a lull at some point when we get frustrated.
I've gone below the 19k mark. Probably won't stay there that long as I'm buying the uniforms next week and might be paying that off next couple of months.
I got my 16 from the survey site today though, plus another fiver and I have also done overtime that I will eventually get (60 ish quid). Damage limitation is the current plan!
