The squishy things are on DGDs birthday wish list as well. Sounds like a good haul at Costco.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0

Twas a good haul…..you have to keep an eye on what you’re buying because not everything is cheaper but I was pleased with what I’d bought SG2….especially the squishy toy 😁
I think one of my best buys was a pack of 2 sourdough loaves for £1.99 I’d looked in MandS last time I was in my town and they were £4 each 😳😳 probably a bit bigger but it stayed on the shelf there…..no way am I ever paying £4 for bread 😳😳😳😳The ones I bought yesterday are sliced and packed in small packs in the feeezer. Very nice toasted with a poached egg this morning 😁January spends - £587.581 -
I always make sure I get a sourdough loaf for my freebie with the threshold spend in the Li*l app as that's the best value - theirs are a good price anyway mind at £1.99 for the one I get, and so tasty!
There is just SO much Covid about at the moment isn't there - feels like every second person on here has had it again recently, and know a lot of folk out there in real life as well. I'm sure in another 12 months nobody will be testing for it at all any more - and it'll just come down to common sense about not mixing with vulnerable folk if people feel off colour.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

EH I only venture to Lidl once in a blue moon…..it’s the only supermarket I don’t have on my doorstep or pass regularly so I’ve never bothered with the app. There has been planning permission submitted for one just beyond the Morrison’s I go to though so fingers crossed. It’s worth knowing the sourdough bread is good from there 👍 thanks.
Like you say Beanie - common sense is lacking in many people.
I couldn’t get on aqua this morning so I just went for a swim…I was shattered afterwards. My friend who is having the swimming lessons came back and we had an easy lunch here…..poached eggs on toast. I had good intentions of sorting the gks room out but she has only just gone. I passed my expensive shoes on to her Dd…..I’m happy about this as I know she will appreciate them as with 3 littlies she doesn’t treat herself often. If they’re no use to her she works for a children’s cancer charity so that’s where they’ll go - I’m equally happy either way and it saves me a trip to the charity shop.I’m hoping to visit my brother tomorrow. I’ve been trying to get there since September but it’s never come to fruition. If I do go I’m going to get off the tram in the big city we pass through and have a mooch around at the Halloween decorations there.£25 on haircut this morning- a bit wasteful as I went straight for a swim afterwards but it badly needed cutting. I’ve booked a December appointment 😳😳😳 this year has gone by so quickly.January spends - £587.581 -

I woke up feeling rubbish….a really dizzy, sickly headache so I’m not moving out. I might need to nip to Asd@ later but I’ll see how the day progresses. The trip to my brother will have to wait until after our trip for Dh birthday. Spends will depend on whether I go out or not. I need a bit of fresh veg and want to top my Christmas savings card up so that I qualify for the £15 bonus. It will happen some time this week if not todayJanuary spends - £587.580

I walked around to Ald! yesterday just to get some salad bits. As the day went on I was a bit better but my throat is very scratchy again…..I’m not impressed.
I did finish sorting the gks bedroom yesterday- short bursts got a boring job done. I had a charity bag through the door which will be collected tomorrow so I’m happy I don’t have to mess about going to the charity shop….just need to remember to put it out tonight.
I want to nip into town later to get my Asd@ card topped up for Christmas to qualify for my £15 bonus. I need to get eldest gdds birthday present to take with us next week. There is a lot of building work happening in town though and so many roads are closed…..not sure whether to walk or not as I won’t be carrying a lot, I can always jump on the bus back.
I’ve just had a lovely chat with a friend…😁January spends - £587.580
