FINALLY- a negative test….10days in 😁👍👍👍👍 i haven’t tested for a day or so but wanted to make sure I was absolutely safe  before I visit ds today. I actually felt much more normal and with no scratchy throat yesterday for the first time….so I think that was the turning point 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Today will be a very spendy one as we’re going to C@stc@ to do a big stock up shop 👍It will involve pizza 🤪

    I'm still testing positive 🙄

Mind you if it's anything like last time I had it I tested positive for about a month after I had it!

I feel absolutely fine though and on day 11 I definitely shouldn't be contagious so it is back to business as usual.

It definitely weird isn’t it RS. I still can’t get my head around the fact that I could visit the dentist and he did 3 fillings after 5 days…..when I think back to how long the dentists were  shut and how people resorted to self dentistry 😵‍💫😳😳😳😳….I know it’s not the same strain anymore but  I really expected I’d need a negative test before treatment. I have been out and about since then but kept my distance from people. Dh moved out of the spare room last night back into our room. It was purely for my peace of mind that if dh or ds get it - it’s not from me 😁👍

I've had it too and I stayed away from my friend and my cousin who both really suffered when they had it the first time around. Despite me still making all meals etc the House Troll hasn't caught it and I tested negative yesterday on day 8. I had a bit of a cough and a bit of a sniff and that was all.

Mr RS didn't get it this time either. He has tested this morning before we meet family and he is negative.

I should have thought if he was going to get it he would have had it by now.

It really is an odd virus this one. It won't be going anywhere soon so I guess we will just have to learn to live with it. There certainly seems to be a lot of it about at the minute.

Much cash was spent yesterday but my cupboards are full. Brandt’s@n beans worked out at 41 p a tin. I’d been paying 50 p for @sd@ ones. A big rotisserie chicken for £3.99 - I walked passed a squirty little one for 5.99 in Mozzers the other day 😳. I’ve split some packets of things with ds. I had coppers change from £200 😳😳 but that included a couple of birthday presents too. Littlest gk will be thrilled with a squishy soft toy she has been after. It was the same make and £1 dearer than the local supermarket but twice the size. She has been after one for ages……I’ve bought her one and ds has bought her a different one. So that’s her birthday present sorted and we can take it when we go….I just want to add a bit of cash. I can’t believe how quickly the trip to dds and then London is coming aroundfor Dh 70 th.  We go a week on Thursday 😳
Right I need to have a shower then portion the mountains of meat for the freezer  🤞 it all fits in 😂😂😂😂

Everything fitted in the freezer with room to spare….wish I’d picked up a big mince to make burgers, bolognaise and chilli…..I wasn’t sure if it would have fitted. I might nip back in a week or so and just pick that up……or maybe not as I don’t think I’d walk out with just mince 😏 It should keep me going months 😁 I got a shock a few weeks back when I went to pick some chicken breasts up from the supermarket…..can’t remember how much they were but they stayed in the shop instead of coming home with me.
