Welcome home. Glad you had a good trip. Hope you get the phone sorted out quickly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Welcome home. Which bit’s didn’t you enjoy (apart from the midges obviously) 😁. If you wear dresses you really have to wear tights too, which I know is counterproductive! I’m glad you had a safe trip. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

WW I felt a tad hemmed in at times when we’d done several continuous stopovers. I preferred staying on the sites rather than stopover car parks. I can do a carpark stopover in between campsites for a night, saying that, the one in The Cairngorms was great….I just think we did too many on the run. We’ll organise it differently next time 👍 It was still a lovely holiday and we saw some amazing sun sets and scenery. Plus I got to see some old friends 😀January spends - £587.587

Fabulous photos! I think I’d prefer the security of a campsite myself. It would give me horror movie vibes parking remotely with no one else around 😅Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

WW we always stayed in designated Motorhome spots (there’s an app telling you where you can stay- I couldn’t just stay in a lay by) but I’ve discovered I’m more of a townie than a traveller. I like a proper base to return to 😂😂 preferably with electric hook up. I can manage without the electric - but if I have a choice….electric all the way for me 😂😂😂
I’ve had a lovely day. I went to U3A this morning and an old friend I used to work with was there so we had a good old catch up. We’ve said we will do lunch next month 😀
I came home to a letter from the taxman saying they owe me £17.50 which is better in my pocket than there’s 😀😀😀. Whilst I was reclaiming this I decided to double check my pension forecast. I did check it a while back but Dh has been pestering me to double check. I’ve paid 49years full contributions so will get my pension. I was sure I would but he had me doubting.
I’ve paid my cc in full after my holiday spends. I want to do a little more number crunching, but all is well 👍 I just need to keep an eye on the spends for a while just to pull them back before I get too used to spending at silly levels. It’s doable for a couple of weeks but not continually. The only problem I’ve had is I’ve (whispers quietly as I’ve done this many times before) I’ve mislaid my false tooth 😵💫☺️ I’ve been through the bins, moved furniture and have no recollection of taking it out last night 😳…..it’s really bugging me now 😳January spends - £587.583 -
I’ve given up with GaffGiff…..customer service is absolutely dire. I’ve requested my pac code and found a deal cheaper with more usage plus a £40 voucher if you stay with them 6 months. 😀👍 Hopefully the new sim will be with me tomorrow and I can (or my technical assistant - namely Dh) can get it rolling tomorrow evening 😀January spends - £587.581

Good news on the tax rebate, it all helps. Hope you haven’t swallowed your tooth in the night 😱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

My thought was swallowing the tooth…hopefully the fitting is too big for that? Did you check the bed? Could it have fallen out in the night? Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I definitely haven’t swallowed it as it’s on a plate. I’m the world’s worse for taking it out as soon as I walk through the door or even in the car as it suddenly feels really uncomfortable and heavy at the end of the day. I have a couple of places I put it…..but it has turned up in the bin, by the front doorstep as I’d dropped it on my way in. I once had to get a replacement, only to find the original afterwards…..I’ve been really good with it recently but we came in from ds last night and straight up to bed. I really have no recollection of what I did with it.January spends - £587.580
