You will have a great time in Scotland , do you leave Thursday next week ?Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0 -

Fully intend to do absolutely nothing for both of those weekends!!0 -
RS I love the mh but I also need some time at home…..we need to look at the balance. I’d be happier with shorter trips I think and just a couple of longer ones a year. I just seem to get my energy back and it’s time to start all over again. I feel as is I’m constantly on catch up.
I’ve been sitting with my phone by my side for the telephone appointment I got mixed up with on Tuesday. It’s over an hour and a half after they said they’d ring. I’ve just phoned the appointment department at the hospital to see what’s going on…..this is the hospital where I waited all afternoon and the clinic was cancelled but nobody told me. Anyway it is still going ahead. Apparently the doctor has just started his phone consultations after a busy clinic. I wish they give a time slot of a couple of hours rather than just a specific time. I’m wary of starting or doing anything in case I miss it 😏January spends - £587.582 -

We will be shattered come autumn I think and ready for a rest.
I hate sitting around waiting for deliveries or phone calls. So annoying. At least you are sorted now. Fingers crossed you don't have to wait long for the injection.
Enjoy your trip next week. Not jealous at all
We are very much on the countdown to our first proper holiday of the year and our first time off work for the year that hasn't been a bank holiday. 3 weeks and counting.

DH has a friend coming around today to play trains. 😂😂 boys and their toys 😂😂 Anyway that spurred me on to sorting my flower pots out which weren’t quite finished and I found somewhere for my empty pots to live. It actually looks very respectable now in the garden. I still want to thin my alpines out but that can wait until we get back from Scotland.I was up early baking lemon drizzle cake and I nipped to M@rris@ns for some bread…..I went all around the big shopping mall earlier in the week and didn’t find anything. I should have just nipped there as I usually do. I saw 2 tops and a dress - they fit great too. I’m in 2 minds whether to shorten the dress but I’m not sure. I got all 3 for the price of 1 of the tops that was ‘ok’ in JL 👍😃 Not what I’d planned buying this morning but I’m happy.
All I want now is to find some of the trainers I saw….hope I get chance to nip to pavers before Thursday but I’ve got a busy week ahead.I’ve got another telephone hospital appointment on Tuesday - my hip this time. It’ll be interesting to see how close to the actual appointment he phones as it’s the private hospital…it’s always just been 10 minutes either way with apologies for not being on time…and that’s still as a NHS patient. I’ve also had an appointment through for an infusion I have. That’s fallen nicely just after we get back.
I’ll make lunch for Dh and his friend, other than that I plan a lazy day. I’ve been awake since the sun woke me at 4 - it has no right to get up so early. I think I woke Dh and he was coughing and snoring intermittently until he got up at 7 😵💫😳
I need to do some number crunching this weekend.January spends - £587.581 -

I went to SW this morning. I really don’t know why I’m bothering as I put 1 1/2 of the 3 1/2 I’d lost last week back on. But I baked and ate a fair bit of it yesterday and I’d bee out last weekend to the cinema so it’s to be expected. I debated whether to carry on or Jack it all in as I’ll miss the next 3 weeks. In a moment of madness I bought a 12 week countdown which means I get 2 free weeks and a free recipe book. It might help to keep me focussed some of the time I’m away……January spends - £587.582
