Great thinking and planning using your wages to get big improvements done now. Would it be useful to rent a suit for Mr SA if he's unlikely to be wearing it again for the foreseeable?
He’s not getting a suit just some smart trousers and a shirt that he could wear again.

Or even get one from the Bay of E. DH needed a suit and In got a lovely one for £10 on there for him. He was very happy with it.

    Morning all, happy Wednesday.

    WFH today.

Had my usual leisurely start with my book and a coffee then completed today's Spanish challenges before doing a yoga class.

Last night I joined a live meditation class and it was a lovely summer meditation where you visualised you were on a beach, in a forest or wherever your happy summer place is. It was very relaxing until Mr SA started shouting me and the dog started playing up in the background!

It's a grey damp start to the day here but according to the forecast it's going to clear up later.

Today's exercise is the yoga already done, dog walking later this morning, a lunchtime short strength session and Zumba tonight. I also plan to do day 2 of the 7 day balance challenge. It's the same 7 balance challenges for 7 days and you're meant to compare your balance at the end of the 7 days to see how much it improves. I was surprised that my balance is a lot better than I thought. If anyone wants to give it a go here is the YT link.

I've just given the balance challenge a try and my balance is encouraging - so why am I a bit out of breath?! :D It's definitely a bit of a warm up and suppleness challenge as well! I'll see how I go over the week. Are you still doing it? I'd imagine it's one to repeat a couple of times a week even when you're confident.

Yes I'm doing it every day to see if I improve. I managed all the challenges but found it more difficult to balance with my left leg (the one with the plate and pins in). I know that most people have better balance on one side than another though. A few times recently I've tripped whilst walking to/from work on dodgy paving and managed to right myself even with the heavy rucksack on my back, I only went flying the once 🤣 I guess the aim of the challenge is to help prevent falls.

We went to Aldi and I got Mr SA's beer which was on a really good offer. Also a few things that Lidl don't sell. I also got a bag of compost for £3.49 and 2 good sized perennials that were only £2.99 each. I have a couple of gaps in the garden earmarked for them. I'll still need to go to Lidl tomorrow for a bottle of Mythos for Mr SA on Saturday as I'm planning a Greek kebab night theme. I got 8,000 steps clocked up and the dog had a good walk and sniff around. Somehow managed to get 4 crates of beer, a bag of compost, 2 plants and a bag of shopping on Mr SA's scooter 🤣
