    I've just had a look at the soup recipe: another for me to try, I think. You mentioned you'd roasted the squash in advance but did you peel it?

    Yes I always peel it. I know you can leave the skin on but I don’t like the texture. It’s about the only thing I don’t peel. After many years of peeling/chopping/de-seeding squash I’ve got it down to a fine art now 😆
    I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    Thanks - I think it sounds like my thing and I might peel the BNS too, as bits in the soup would spoil it for me!
