Progress not Perfection

That’s Monday done.

Day off today which has really confused me, doesn’t take much 🤣

Took the dog to the vets for her discharge appointment and all is good. The cone can come off unless she starts scratching her ear then it’s to go back on. The vet has submitted the insurance claim for me so we’ll see if I get anything back. Flea and worm treatment picked up for dog and young cat. 

Popped in BnM while we were down there. Bargain W@rburtons crumpet thins and brown sandwich thins 60p each. 

As we were out at lunchtime we went to Maccy D’s for the first time in what must be at least 20 years. Mr SA enjoyed his cheeseburger and fries. I had a spicy veggie wrap, it was ok but won’t be repeating the experience any time soon. 

Got home and weeded the drive, tidied and swept the patio, planted a marguerite, watered the greenhouse, ironed the dry washing, cleaned the bathroom and steam scrubbed the upstairs floors. 

Got an hour in my hanging chair with my book before it was time to cook dinner. 

Today’s exercise was walking to/from the retail park where the vets is 23,000 steps.

Tonight’s dinner was stir fried veg and wholemeal noodles.

Palm tree looking a lot happier in its new pot. Patio could do with a good jet wash though and I still need to get some plants for the little pots.
