Afternoon all, happy Tuesday.
Worked in the office until lunchtime and WFH this afternoon.
Picked up my free coffee this morning.
Popped into Lid! on the way home, I got Mr SA to meet me on his scooter as I realised the 7.5kg bags of potatoes were free with the veg coupon. I think I got the best value there, saved £4.09. I've noticed they've sneaked prices up by a few pence on quite a few things recently.
Did my Monday finance check a day late. Spreadsheet reconciled with cc and banking apps. It's the final week of the 4 week budget period and there will be a decent underspend, although it feels like cheating as we were on holiday for a week of it 😆
Today's exercise was walking to/from work.
Jacket potato night tonight so making a batch of veggie chilli to go on it and will freeze the rest. Certainly got plenty of potatoes now 🤣
It's the park volunteers group meeting tonight, I've already said I'm going so no getting out of it now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -

Morning all, halfway through the week already. Looking forward to another long weekend, could get used to this. Not done a full week this month so w/c 1 June will be a killer.
WFH today. Enjoyed my nice leisurely start to the day with my book and a coffee. Did lots of Spanish learning too.
Today's exercise is yoga at 7.30, dog walking later this morning and Zumba at 6pm.
Money wise it will be a NSD.
Tonight's dinner is freezer meal so will see what needs using up in there. I also need to organise both freezers again as I've got back into the habit of just shoving things in where they'll fit.
The dog is being really good without her cone on. She's only gone once to scratch her ear, I showed her the cone the minute she lifted her paw in the air, that stopped her going any further 😆

A nice start to your day
Glad dog is doing wellIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

This lunchtime I paid off the cc balance apart from the vet bill. That will need to be cleared by early June but waiting to see if anything comes back from the insurance before then.
An oddment of £3.42 sent to the Christmas pot.
Both freezers have now been organised and everything is where it should be. List of contents also made.
A productive use of my lunch break anyway.
I keep trying to get Mr SA to sort out some old drawers in the shed that have collapsed under the weight of all the junk he put in them. He was sitting in the garden staring into space so I reminded him about said task. He decided it was time for his siesta instead 😐I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
