Happy Saturday 🙂
The plan for today is to go to the big garden centre. It’s quite a long walk but the palm tree is desperate for a new pot and I think that’s probably the best place to get one from. Mr SA wants some more pond fish and a few pond plants too. The last lot of fish have settled in well although it seems we have lost one as we can only see 5 rather than the 6 we bought.I let the dog out on the garden last night before I went to bed and she came back minus her cone. I went out with a torch but couldn’t see it. I’ve had another quick look this morning but can’t see it. I expect it’s in one of the many bushes so will have a proper look later. I need to find it as it’s attached to her collar so that’s missing too.Enjoying a coffee this morning before Mr SA and the dog get up. Started a new book.Tonight it’s pizza, Prosecco and Eurovision 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Finally I’ve got a huge plant pot for the palm 🥳 just £32.99 from the garden centre and exactly what I was looking for. Spent £100 in there altogether! Got 6 new fish and some pond plants. The new fish are swimming around happily with the current residents. It was quite entertaining watching them checking each other out.Mr SA knocked into a display of plants with his scooter and someone had to help me disentangle the scooter from the stand before he wrecked the whole display 🫣We had a coffee in the coffee shop and the dog had a growl at the rabbits in the pet area.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

That is an excellent price for a huge pot.

I’ve moved my hanging chair to what we call the beach area of the garden, it’s red hot down there when the sun’s out. That means it’s more or less become my area of the garden as my sun bed is down there too 😎 I’ve moved Mr SA’s chair to where my hanging chair used to be as it’s shadier and he’s happy about that. We call it the beach area as it’s all pebbles and ornamental grasses.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
