I’ve only just managed to sit down with a G&T. We didn’t get home until after 7 then I had to feed the dog with a spoon and get some water down her. Then cook and clean up afterwards. The vet said the dog would be tired and just want to sleep - not the case, she’s been on the move constantly. She’s had the collar off twice so far 😐 I’ve just carried her up upstairs and put her on our bed and she seems to be settling 🤞

Morning everyone. Beautiful and sunny already. The dog had a good night’s sleep thankfully. So did I, I was absolutely exhausted. We need to take her back to the vets this morning for her post op check up. As it’s just over 16,000 steps there and back that’s my exercise for the day taken care of.I think DS and the GKs are visiting later although not confirmed yet.I need to pick up some bird seed from the local shops as we’ve run out and I saw a Robin looking at the empty bird table yesterday. A local shop sells bags of different seeds and nuts for £1 each so will stock up.
Tonight’s dinner is veggie burger, sweet potato wedges and salad. Also have rosé Prosecco 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
