Caught up with your goings on finally! You've really had some ups and downs over the weeks! I'm so sorry things were so fraught at the theatre with Mr SA - yes, wheelchairs for him going forward!
Also sorry to hear he wasn't feeling that great on holiday. But you do need a break too and I know you love your sun! Perhaps looking at holidays designed for folk with limited mobility will be the way forward - there seems to be quite a few of these companies around and they include hols to Spain and Greece. You would then at least soak up some sun and get a holiday yourself.Hope all goes well with the vet. xFinally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

The vet has just called with pre-op details and obviously with her age they will have to do blood tests beforehand. The lump in her ear has definitely grown since before we went on holiday. It's almost blocking her whole ear now. She's no longer scratching it but this will be down to the drops the vet gave me. They said to make sure I have my phone by me all day in case they need to speak to me.
I've decided I will WFH tomorrow but have blocked out my calendar as unavailable for most of the day. I think it will help take my mind off worrying.

Sounds very much like my dog last year SA, had the lump removed which its roots had gone down into his ear. Has been perfectly fine since. We didn’t get the lump tested if it was cancerous as he was nearly 13 years old at the time and I didn’t want to know. So far it hasn’t grown back and all I good. Hoping for good news for you as well.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002

Thank you all ❤️ It’s only natural to worry when a pet has to undergo an operation especially when they’re older. If they think it’s risky they won’t do it. Hopefully it won’t be and they can remove the lump tomorrow without a further extensive operation. The vet did say if it hasn’t got a stalk it will only take 10 minutes to remove 🙏🤞
In other news, Mr SA had a new drill for his birthday. I asked him to tighten up the screws of a coat rack as they’d worn loose. You should’ve seen the state of the rack afterwards - it was higher one end than the other and any coat would’ve fallen straight off it 🤦♀️ He used to be really good at DIY, unfortunately he’s lost the knack. In money news it was NSD 2 of May.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
