Well done on Ernie.
would DH go to respite ‘holiday’ ? Or could his sister step in and let you have a break ? You really need to look after yourself here !Sealed pot challenge 822

Morning everyone 🙂
My last day off work ☹️ I was going to go in the office tomorrow but have changed my mind. Going to WFH tomorrow and Friday and get back to normal on Monday. Tomorrow will no doubt be spent clearing emails and catching up and I can do that better from home. Friday the dog is at the vet with her ear so will need to drop her off/pick her up.Today’s main focus is tidying up the garden. Still got a fair bit of washing to do. At least the weather looks decent for it.Trying to get back into my exercise routine so did a live yoga session at 7.30 and it’s live Zumba at 6pm.Going to take the dog on the park shortly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Feel for you SA , very tough for the first few days after being off . Your mortgage figure looks great , that'll soon be gone and worth celebrating I'm sure3

I got quite a lot of gardening done today. Some plants I bought before the holiday have finally been planted, some weeding and tidying done, everything has been fed and watered and the patio and paths have been swept. Finally reached the bottom of the laundry basket. Lots of ironing done.Looked at bank account, sent an oddment of £6.33 to the Christmas pot and £200 to the Nwide regular saver. The other savings accounts will be fed tomorrow when I’ve got my organised head back on.Today was NSD 1 of May, the first NSD for some time. Also managed to spend some time in my hanging chair reading.I think I’ve got lentil dhal for dinner. I found it in the freezer unlabelled 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

I think coming to the end of a mortgage is a strange feeling - almost hard to realise that it's gone after years and years of it being the first priority payment every month.Would a sa ga type holiday work any better for MrSA? A friend of mine went on one recently - collected from home and it was certainly geared up to cope with travellers with additional needs?5

Morning all.
Back to work today but WFH so not so bad. Still ploughing my way through 360 emails, not helped by IT systems being very slow this morning 😣
Finances have finally been checked properly. Have fed all the regular savers and sinking funds pots.
Stressing myself out about the dog's visit to the vet tomorrow although it's only the vet getting a better look at her ear under anaesthetic rather than an operation as such. I'm struggling to concentrate on anything, goodness knows what I'll be like tomorrow. I had several different dreams involving vets last night.
I'm still thinking about taking tomorrow off as I'll be out a good part of the day AM and PM with maybe a couple of hours or so I'm able to work. On the other hand I might be better off working and not pacing about. As far as I understand we drop the dog off at 9.30 and pick her up at 3.30 but it's an hour's walk each way so 4 hours walking. I need to pick up a huge plant pot from BnQ while we're down that way as the palm tree desperately needs repotting. I also need to go to Lid! and Mr T on the way back. I have loads of flexi so could just put in as many hours as I can around the day.
Today's exercise has been dog walking this morning, a lunchtime strength training session and Zumba tonight.
I'm going to dig something out of the freezer for tonight's dinner, I'll see what I've got in there.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Your holiday went so quickly. It seems more difficult to be taking Mr SA away which is a shame as I know you need the break. The photos were lovely.
Hope all goes well at the vets 🤞January spends - £587.582 -
Lots of good exercise on the menu.
