    Well done on Ernie.

would DH go to respite ‘holiday’ ? Or could his sister step in and let you have a break ? You really need to look after yourself here !

I’m afraid not on both counts. Mr SA would refuse to go and his sister never offers to help out. She only visits him when he’s in hospital despite living less than 8 miles away. I get the feeling she’s not keen on me because I don’t take any nonsense from her when she interferes on the phone.

Feel for you SA , very tough for the first few days after being off . Your mortgage figure looks great , that'll soon be gone and worth celebrating I'm sure

I think coming to the end of a mortgage is a strange feeling - almost hard to realise that it's gone after years and years of it being the first priority payment every month.

Would a sa ga type holiday work any better for MrSA?  A friend of mine went on one recently - collected from home and it was certainly geared up to cope with travellers with additional needs?
That sort of holiday might be worth looking into perhaps.

Your holiday went so quickly. It seems more difficult to be taking Mr SA away which is a shame as I know you need the break. The photos were lovely.
Hope all goes well at the vets 🤞
