None around by us, that’d due to most of the neighbours being elderly or families that have grown up. I didn’t open any of the packets of sweets just in case this happened, so put them away for GK’s Xmas hamper.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.003

Happy Friday and happy November. How can it be November already!
Worked in the office for 6 hours then finished for the day. Work is manically busy at the moment so glad to leave it all behind for 2 days.Had a quick browse round the city centre shops after work and ended up buying a gorgeous autumn leaves lighted twig tree for half price in JL because it was classed as Halloween stuff. I’ve had my eye on this tree for a couple of years so was very happy to get it so cheap. It looks lovely in my newly refurbished dining room and matches the feature wall.Mr SA had been speaking to DS and managed to get something wrapped round his neck. He told me we had to go to view the wedding venue with DS and OH tomorrow but turned out it was just them not us 🙄
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home. Ploughed up the hill with a heavy backpack, 2 shopping bags and the tree, was very glad to get to the flat bit at the top where we live. I’m sure this hill is getting steeper 😆
Today’s exercise was walking to/from work 22,801 steps.Enjoyed a lovely candle lit soak in the bath. I was feeling quite stressed as Mr SA had been going on and on and on about those damned camouflage trousers and how I’d forgotten about them and he never gets anything! Ended up ordering some from eBay just to shut him up.Tonight’s dinner was salmon with Mexican rice and steamed veg.Putting my feet up with a much needed 🍷now. Absolutely shattered so it will be an early night.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -

Now come on folks - this lady can handle a tape measure AND walk 20,000 steps a day: why shouldn't she put the shelves up herself?! Though of course she may not be in the mood for his reaction should she get in there before him, I get the feeling he wouldn't be a happy bunny.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living.
