  • Well done on the cash out. I have been waiting for £1.50 for about 3 weeks now. I swear they slow down as soon as you get near the limit.

Just catching up on the last few days on your diary.  The fireplaces look fabulous.  Really seasonal and cosy.
  • There's not really room for it anywhere else @satchmo1, he's behaving himself so far today 😆

Finally cashed out £25 on Opinium. I've been just 40p short of cashing out for the last few days.

The internet has been fine since first thing this morning, isn't that just typical.

Mr SA put the toothbrush holder, mirror and picture back up on the bathroom wall so that kept him occupied for a while. The toothbrush holder isn't very straight but trying not to look too closely at it!
That must of pleased Mr SA to unlock his tool box and use the tools, I guessing he has them safely back under lock and key to prevent you doing anything silly like using a screwdriver 😜

  • I have the V*x carpet cleaner. Apart from being extremely heavy to carry up the stairs, I find it excellent. Need to get it out and do all the carpets before Christmas I think

I'm a tight-wad with trick or treat & I don't open the door. I much prefer our traditional folk traditions for Hallowe'en to the more tacky imported stuff, but the main reason is that I don't see why I should hand out free sweets to kids who wouldn't so much as bother to say 'Hi' to me at any other time of year..... & that includes one or two of the parents too!

We have decided not to be in for Halloween this year.

It really made me angry that the last couple of years people have driven to our estate to take the kids trick or treating because they think they will get more sweets here.

It was a joke last year. We couldn't even get on our drive when we got home from work!

On the fire SA, how about plugging it in to a smart plug which you could control from your phone - you could then keep an eye on its use and switch it off if it is clearly on heat mode?! (Or track the amount of energy it's using, and declare with a huge worried sigh that since the energy costs seem to have gone up massively you're starting to think that the next holiday might not be affordable... )
