Hope your busy day goes well. I used to enjoy interviewing people but found it tiring because of the need for day-long concentration levels.

Day 1 of interviews done. Feel really tired from concentrating so hard plus I was notetaking in between interviews at the meeting. Mr SA has done nothing but shuffle backwards and forwards past my desk the whole day. I asked him not to for the interviews but he totally ignored me.
Now to get back to the day job although I'm only doing an hour to go through my inbox. I can already see a request for my availability to sift job applications so I expect I'll be interviewing again shortly!
During brief breaks I managed to get on the park with the dog, then at lunchtime I took 2 bags of coffee pods to a local shop to send for recycling. I also managed to clear the ironing basket.
Still need to clean the bedroom when I log off. Mr SA knocked over his drink in the living room at lunchtime and it went everywhere. I cleared it up quickly but it will need doing properly later.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Is there not a meeting room / small office at work you could use for interviews? That way you wouldn’t have to worry about Mr SA xMFW 2025 #50: £1139.75/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

Morning all.
WFH again and the final day of the interviews. Only got 3 to do today and they are evenly spaced out so Mr SA should be able to restrain himself today - surely.
Money
We have finally had our pay award agreed at work and it will be backdated to June, everything takes forever here but we should receive it along with the back pay before Christmas.
Yesterday was a NSD and today will be the same. No temptation of Lid! when WFH 😆
I need to set some time aside to compare prices for TV/broadband with VM going up, see what deals are out there. We need a TV package as we don't have an aerial and our TV is a devil for suddenly deciding it doesn't want to be linked to the internet. It happens at least once a week and apparently LG TVs are known for doing this.
I cancelled the dog's Yumove subscription as for the past few months I've been skipping the shipment because I still have plenty in. Now she's on the vet Onsior prescription I don't feel the need to be buying two lots of arthritis tablets plus I really don't think the Yumove made any difference whereas the Onsior does.
Also need to think about fixing the gas/electricity tariff with prices going up.
The quote has come in for DD's room which I've accepted as it's a bit less than I anticipated. He is still pricing up the dining room but if it's a lot it might have to wait until next year. The 3 regular savers are for home improvements mainly but I want to put around a third of the proceeds into the emergency fund. The most important thing is to get DD's room done as soon as possible.
Exercise
Today's exercise will be dog walking after the first interview, a walk down to the charity shop at lunchtime as I have another 2 bags to drop off, then Zumba at 5.30. Unfortunately I'll have to miss my usual lunchtime stretch & tone as it clashes with the final interview.
Food
Tonight's dinner is left over sweet potato stew with steamed veg. I had made a meal plan up to the end of the month but have re-jigged this a bit in favour of using up what I already have in stock.

Re the online interviews, do you prefer this or face to face. ?When I am involved in interviewing I prefer face to face , but if I was being interviewed for a job I would prefer online in my own space .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2
