I suppose theoretically one can be in charge of a supermarket trolley, and they may even have improved over the years, but surely they have minds of their own?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I want to know if there was someone actually in the trolley which I do remember seeing many years ago.

As a student back in the day, I moved house in a stray supermarket trolley. Needed to make a lot of trips from one horrible damp dive to the next one, but it saved the cost of hiring a van.
F2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (5/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg3 -

Ha ha you lot with tales of supermarket trolleys 🤣 I was once apprehended by a policeman for walking home with a traffic cone on my head singing on the way home from the pub. I was allowed to keep the traffic cone as long as I stopped singing which I thought was a fair exchange 😆
