I had a friend (over 60 years ago) & she used to say the same about the sun. So vitamin D ?? or a very short spell on a sunbed. I used to go on one for the shortest they could do regularly & it was good for the mood but I don't know about eczema.

Mine only ever seems to flare up in the summer strangely enough! Fortunately I don't have flare ups that often and they usually appear when I've been stressed (although this is most of the time with Mr SA 😆). The local chemist didn't have anything I could put on my eyelids (they are a completely useless chemists) so will have to wait until I'm back in the office and can go to B00ts. I want to try and keep it at bay as the last time I had a bad flare up it spread all over my body and became infected so I ended up on steroids and antibiotics.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Morning all, happy Tuesday.
A miserable rainy morning here.
Mr M delivery has been and all packed away before 7am.
I am wondering if the eczema is related to pollen which would explain why it disappeared in Ibiza and came back as soon as I returned. I took an anti-histamine this morning and I feel a bit better already.
WFH again and still ploughing my way through my inbox and the inboxes of those I work for.
Today's exercise plan is dog walking later this morning, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is smoked basa with leeks, pearl barley and cauliflower, an old favourite recipe. Must find time to write out a meal plan for the rest of the month, got several new recipes I want to try.
Cleaning task is to give the kitchen a good clean.
Yesterday I renewed one of my magazine subscriptions using Clubcard vouchers. I didn't realise how many I'd accumulated. I had allowed for the renewal price in my sinking funds so will move what I've saved to the vet pot. I also renewed my Good Food subscription as there was an offer 6 months for £24.50 plus a free saute pan, made a note to cancel when the 6 months is up and find another offer. I didn't realise this subscription had run out as I bought a 12 magazines deal last year which didn't automatically renew. Yes I know I could save money by reading magazines on a library app or similar but I hate reading magazines online same with books, I like the real thing in my hands.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
No point depriving yourself of the small pleasures in life if you can afford them, lounging with a proper magazine and curling up with a proper book are absolute joys
Glad you're feeling a bit better. I thought I was fending something off but think it might just be really bad hayfever, must be the week for it!1 -
I’ve finally caught up. Your holiday looked amazing, especially the sunsets.
Glad the anti histamine has helped your eyelids. It sounds horrible. It’s bad enough having itchy eyes with hayfever.
Your gks are growing fast….10 already. Hope a happy birthday was had.
Dont work too hard now you’re back to reality. I bet your holiday seems a long time ago.

Funny you mention eczema. I seem to be having a flare up of it in my eyebrows and on my forehead at the minute as well. Don't normally suffer with it either!
I wonder if it is weather related?1 -
Morning (just!) all. Happy Wednesday.
Beautiful sunny day today, what I can see of it as the blinds are closed at work. Two loads of washing hung out before I set off this morning.
I made it into the office today. I felt quite rough this morning with a sore throat again so took a Covid test to be on the safe side which was thankfully negative. Took another anti-histamine and felt much better shortly afterwards so it all must be connected to an allergy of some sort.
Picked up my free coffee courtesy of 0ctopus.
I've got to deliver a presentation this lunchtime which will involve me going on camera, not looking forward to this so will be glad when it's done.
It won't be a NSD as I'm going to pick up some facial eczema cream from B00ts on the way home plus I could do with stopping off at Lid!.
Exercise is walking to/from work and ClubFit at 6pm (the Zumba lady is off with Covid so change of class).
Tonight's dinner is a spicy beanburger that's been in the freezer for ages with butternut squash wedges and salad.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
