We’ve been back in the UK since around 2.30. The flight was delayed by 30 minutes due to air traffic control from the departure end so they were late landing. It was literally them off us on.Ibiza airport is fabulous, definitely the best airport we’ve been to and actually really cheap in the duty free eg a litre of Gordon’s gin for €10 which is less than £10. I’d already bought 2 litres of Gordon’s pink gin in the UK for £20 (yes for both) that had travelled to Ibiza and back. I did pick up a bottle of Puerto de Indias gin that I’d been drinking in Ibiza in a gorgeous bottle that will look great with fairy lights inside once empty. Food was the usual expensive airport prices though. Mr SA was happy because he got his ham and cheese baguette. Made me smile they had a WH Smith there with the usual meal deals 😆Special Assistance both in Ibiza and back home were absolutely brilliant. So nice that the flight was just 2 hours 10 minutes. Very smooth as well which is always a bonus.Everything is ok at home. DD was at work when we arrived and unfortunately the dog had pooped in the house as she’d been on her own all day. She was super excited to see us, bless her.Despite all the spending at the airport we’ve come back with about €30 to carry forward to the next holiday.Mr M delivery coming tomorrow morning at 7am then the dog has a check up at the vet for her ear infection at 10am. Definitely won’t be up until midnight tonight. So glad I’m off work for the rest of the week as I have so much to do in the house and garden. Good to see the greenhouse plants have thrived in the paddling pool.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Welcome back and happy birthday to DGD.
Good to know everything went smoothly (apart from the delayed start), your DD is well enough to work, the dog is happy and the plants have survived! I assume the cats are fine as they've not been mentioned?
You're certainly doing well for gin!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
