Just back from our few days away and caught up. Have to agree it was very sad about Michael Mosley. I used to listen to his podcasts on BBC sounds. Such an inspirational guy to listen to.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Morning all, happy Tuesday.
WFH again today. Mr M delivery has been and all packed away.
That's the last time I let the older cat sleep in the living room, she pooped on the rug. I usually evict the cats from there and close the door but she was curled up on the sofa fast asleep so I left her.
An electrician is hopefully going to fix the living room and understairs cupboard lights at some stage today.
DD is going for her pre op later this morning ready for Friday.
Today's exercise plan is dog walking at some stage (although Mr SA might have to take her on his own as someone needs to be in for the electrician), bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is tuna steak with coriander and lime rice and steamed veg.
Cleaning task is the kitchen and living room. Hopefully will be able to squeeze in a gardening task later, weather permitting.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
i hope aall gooes well with your dd pre op and you get your lights fixed. Boo to the cat leaving you a message but at least it wasnt on the sofa.

I think you must have more hours in a day than me - you achieve so much each day.
naughty cat! Mine had a fur ball yesterday with associated dramatic yowling and retching. I managed to get some newspaper under him but of course he appeared to have finished, sauntered off and then did some more on the newly cleaned carpet! I use flea tablets crushed up in one of those lickety treats. Couldn't cope with the drama and recriminations from the drops on the back of his neck.2 -

The electrician struggled to find an easy solution for the lights. He thinks it will involve taking up floorboards in DD's room or in our room. Anyway as I didn't want him to start taking flooring up it has been decided to wait until DD's room is being renovated and to book the job in again when the flooring is up and the room has been cleared. He's not going to put a charge through for today which is great. Mr SA really got on my nerves hanging around and asking daft questions. Then he asked the electrician to have a look at the bathroom fan while he was here. He's going to replace that when he comes back to do the lights. He said he could replace it now with a bog standard one but if he's coming back he could get hold of a better one for the same price so we will wait.
All in all I thought that was very good service indeed from BG.
