Had a bit of a panic earlier as there was a big pool of water on the kitchen floor. I couldn’t see where it was coming from then noticed the dog’s water bowl was empty and realised someone must’ve caught it with their foot and knocked it over. Mopped up the water and refilled the bowl. I went back in the kitchen 10 minutes later to find another pool of water on the floor and the bowl empty again 🤔 Mopped up yet again, refilled the bowl and put it on the worktop while I cleared up. Then noticed water running down the worktop - yes you’ve guessed it, there was a huge crack in the bottom of the bowl 🤦♀️ Relieved that’s all it was!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)11

Good news on unexpected money. Re the dog bowl we use a stainless steel water bowl and have done ever since we had a dog who would carry his bowl around and then drop it.

Happy Friday everyone.
Day off work today to go out for the day with friends. Feel a tad guilty as DD has just left for her op but she's going to phone when it's done. Mr SA will be on his own all day but he'll survive I'm sure.
For the first time ever DD had already fed the cats when I got up so saved me a job.
Going to set off shortly and go for a coffee before I catch the train. Will use my free Oct0pus code.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

You deserve your day, enjoy it guilt free. There is nothing you could do for DD while it’s happening apart from worry, so it’s good to take your mind off it.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
