We seem to have had more than our fair share of sunshine down South today - and it was quite warm too. So uplifting to be out and about on such a lovely spring day.2

Morning all, happy Sunday.Glad I did the garden jobs yesterday as it’s raining.Opened my Mother’s Day cards from DS and DD. DS got me wine and DD a beautiful orchid in a pot.Today I need to take the soft plastic recycling to Mr T and also to double check that they also accept electrical items for recycling as according to a recycling website they do but I can’t say I’ve seen anywhere to deposit them. The bin men will take small items on bin day but I think these are too big.I also want to try and cram everything from the small freezer into the main one so I can defrost it but might be being a bit optimistic on that front.Today’s housework is giving the bathroom tiles a good clean with the steamer and steam mopping all the floors.Exercise will be walking to/from Mr T and I’ve pencilled in a yoga session on the FitOn app for 4pm.Tonight’s dinner is bang bang salmon stir fry. There is leftover Prosecco of course 🥂
I don’t plan to buy anything from Mr T so it should be NSD3.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Hope everything fitted in the freezer.January spends - £587.581

How do you get on with yoga at home? Do you have a separate space or is it all pets walking over you? I can’t do much without someone joining in 😁 The stir fry and Prosecco sound perfect. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I didn’t do the freezer in the end @milann 😬
@WinterWarrior my dining room is my exercise space and I have a roll up mat for yoga/pilates. The animals do tend to get involved though - I often have a cat on the mat 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
That's Monday done.
Worked in the office until lunchtime then finished up at home. I couldn't believe it was Monday already when I woke up this morning ☹
Picked up the free Gr£ggs coffee from the Oct0pus app on my way to work. A very low spends day as I spent just 49p on some bread rolls from Lid! on the way home. I needed to change a £10 note otherwise it would've been a NSD.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work and I'm at the live hooping class at 6pm. I'm absolutely loving my new hoop with the weighted ball.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of vegan shepherd's pie from freezer stocks with steamed veg.
The dog is 12 this week, we don't know the exact date but she was 3 months old when we got her mid June 2012. That 12 years has flown by and such a lot has happened in that space of time. Mr SA had been pestering to get a dog for some time and I was resistant as we'd only had cats. We visited a rehoming centre a few times but they weren't too happy with us both working full time. We ended up buying her from an advert in the paper, they had three puppies and ours was the one who came running up to us and jumping up so we chose her. We went entirely on a whim and didn't even have any food or equipment for her. We had to leave her with DD while we went to a pet shop and bought everything we needed. Best spur of the moment decision we've ever made 😆 I will admit during the first couple of weeks I was wondering if we'd made a mistake as she was such hard work pooping and peeing everywhere. I soon changed my mind though.
Mr SA had a funny turn on the park this morning and had to come home. He was feeling dizzy.
Monday finance check has been done. I usually pay off the cc on Mondays but there's only £11.07 showing and quite a few bits pending so will wait until they've landed.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
I do think the animals choose us. Our rescue cats came to us, as did my nans. It's like 'you're not leaving unless I am coming with you'Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
