No herbs in our new Lil’s store yesterday - actually, I lie, there were 2 rosemary and 1 rather sad sage in the standard versions. I don’t want to pay £5.99 though so those stayed on the shelf. I’ll pop to the one near Mum’s tomorrow to see what they have.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Happy Sunday everyone 😎 Another sunny day, not quite as sunny as yesterday but still very pleasant and spring like.Had a flurry of productivity this morning and gave the dining room a thorough clean including wiping down woodwork and moving furniture to clean underneath. It feels a lot fresher now. Found a sock that’s been missing in action for a while down the back of the radiator.
Took the dog on the park for a ball run which she enjoyed at first but kept being approached by too many other dogs for her liking. It was good to see it so busy with people though. The council have planted 28 trees which makes it look better already although once they all grow it will be more like a forest 😆Gave the furries their flea treatments. The dog and older cat don’t bat an eyelid but the young cat carries on as if I’ve tried to kill her 🙄
Mr SA isn’t at his best today. We were leaving for the park and he was stood at the patio doors with one door open just staring out. I told him to get a shuffle on and he asked me how to open the door because he couldn’t think how to - it was open! Then he scooted straight past the park and I had to go running after him. He had forgotten where we were going! He was complaining of headache this afternoon and has gone for a lie down.Tonight’s dinner is a portion of vegan shepherds pie from freezer stocks with steamed veg.Exercise is dog walking and just general pottering.
Declaring another NSD.Watched part 2 of Breathtaking after lunch 😢
I can’t remember watching anything on TV last night and the fact there is still the best part of a bottle of Prosecco left means I must’ve fallen asleep after the first glass, so annoying 😖I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
That was a very useful morning: such a nice feeling when an area is thoroughly spring cleaned.
I hope Mr SA improves after he's had a rest. Worrying for both of you, but probably more for you. Having a lie down sounds like a very good option, not just because he's resting but because it keeps him out of mischief. Meanwhile you can have a peaceful afternoon.
I would declare Saturday night a postponement and have it tonight instead.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy2 -
Hope Mr SA feels better after his nap.2

Sorry to hear Mr SA isn’t at his best. Do you get to speak to the doctors whilst he isn’t around at any time? The statistics about dementia are definitively a concern.Sounds as if you were tired and needed the sleep. Enjoy the Prosecco tonight 👍January spends - £587.582

He seems a lot better after his rest. One comfort is that he will never be discharged from his consultant so if I’m ever concerned about him I would only have to call the haematology unit and he’d be fast tracked back no need to go through the GP. It’s so hard to tell with brain damage whether it’s just “normal” or a concern. The heated propagator arrived this afternoon, it looks the business and I’ve already planted some courgette and pepper seeds. I thought I had aubergine and tomato seeds but apparently not 😐 On the list for tomorrow.
No @milann I rarely get to speak to doctors out of his earshot unfortunately. The urgent care team phoned him rather than me a few weeks ago and I think he managed to convince them all was ok which is why, I suspect, nothing has happened on that front.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Oh for flips sake, you'd think the urgent care team would know to consult you. I was hoping you'd be reporting soon that after recent falls incidents both you and Mr SA were getting more support. I know you're a very busy (and somewhat drained!) person, but it might be time for a round of making yourself too annoying to ignore. Sad it has to be that way but they should at minimum be making sure their conduct is appropriate to knowing what the reality is3
