Hoping you manage to get a decent night sleep SA, you need it. My OH is exactly the same as yours when it comes to needing help. Always says no to it , he doesn’t need it when really he does. Let’s hope the “falls team” aren’t a waste of time and come up with some helpful advice and take action to help you. Xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.003

Goodness what a day of it you have had. Good that an ambulance brought him back as presumably he needed help getting in if he is still wobbly. Hope tonight is better for you and MrSA.
presumably his hospital discharge summary will go to his GP and perhaps they can help get some urgent attention from the falls team? Might be worth a call to the GP.

SA - have you considered getting him a special helmet to wear around the house. One of our friends uses one from his favorite team (makes it more acceptable that way).2

Morning all. Thankfully had a decent night's sleep and I feel more refreshed today. The dog woke me up at 1am wanting to go out but I fell straight back to sleep.
WFH again today and probably will be the case until Friday.
The Mr M delivery has been and all packed away, a smallish delivery as some of it arrived last week by thanks to my mistake.
Have dusted myself off and am determined to continue as normal today, I can't let these setbacks with Mr SA get me down.
Exercise will be dog walking later this morning, a lunchtime bums & tums class and resistance bands tonight.
I was supposed to be going to a park across the road volunteers meeting at the pub tonight but have sent my apologies as it would mean leaving Mr SA on his own and DD doesn't get home from work until after 9pm.
Tonight's dinner will be leftover mushroom chilli from Sunday converted into enchiladas using a wrap from the freezer. Will put some salad with it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
Yes, especially when falling. Sort of like a bicycle helmet , but the one they are using is more form fitting.1

I don't know if this is any help but I am just listening to you and yours on radio 4 talking about care costs. One caller has just said that as you probably know when you get up in the night to go to the toilet your blood pressure drops but also as men usually stand up to go there's drops even further so men are more likely to fall. The remedy is to sit on the side of the bed for a minute or two to allow blood pressure to go up a bit. Of course if you wake at the last minute that's not always an option. It might be worth you talking to the falls team when they get in touch. If you want to listen to it the lady with this info was on about half way into the programme. I think it is usually available as a podcast.
Sorry to be long winded but I did wonder if that's what happens at night when Mr SA falls.
