I always get food (and exercise) inspiration when reading your diary, SA 😍
I have everything I need for that mushroom chilli, except the wine pots but I'm sure it will be tasty anyway.

That's an excellent price for travel insurance. Who do you use?
I always go via Money Supermarket to compare prices, I go for good cover rather than the cheapest. Our current provider is Insure For. I would advise to go through a comparison website rather than go straight to the insurer.

Mr SA is classed as cured as his Lymphoma has been in remission for over 5 years but I still declare it. Also declare his disabilities/brain damage.

I come in useful sometimes, not very often though 😆

I only have 250g of mushrooms so will be a small version 🤣 I always keep a supply of the red and white wine stock pots in, they’re so useful. I used to buy the little bottles of cooking wine before but they disappeared from supermarkets which is a shame.

I used 650g of mushrooms and added an extra can of beans as I felt the mushroom to bean ratio was off. I now have enough chilli for the whole week, I don't like frozen/thawed mushrooms so I will have to eat it all before it goes off.

And I found a small bottle of red, 187ml, I think MrJ brought it home from his work travels before covid. I poured it all in!

Yes I always use a comparison site. Agree about good cover, its important to read the small print

  • that's a pretty lunch bag. Our little gift shop in the village has a lot of stuff with bees on, was tempted by a mug the other day, but as I've just got rid of loads of mugs to CS, it wouldn't have really been a wise buy....lol
