Storm Isha is just starting to hit us 🙁 Very windy out there. 

The mushroom chilli was delicious 😋 Despite the fact I only had 250g of mushrooms it made loads and there’s a portion left for another day. Photo below.

Forgot to say did a fair bit of decluttering earlier, repatriated Mr SA’s tools that had crept into the kitchen cupboard back into the shed and sorted out a couple of drawers in the bedroom throwing away anything I was realistically not going to use and not fit to donate. I hate putting things in the bin but fed up of giving them house space, time to let go. Also gave the bedroom a good clean and steam mopped all the floors.

Mr SA has just been taken into hospital. He somehow managed to fall head first into the bath. He was bleeding a fair bit from his head so I rang an ambulance. They came straightaway. We ended up with the fire brigade here as he was too heavy for them to lift. Absolute nightmare. Just sat having a coffee as I doubt I’ll sleep much tonight. So fed up of this. The poor dog is really distressed 🙁

I feel awful I haven’t gone with him but from past experience I’ll only be in the way and they said he’ll be going off for scans as he’s hurt his neck so I’d just be hanging around.

Oh @Sun_Addict, that's so upsetting. Sending a big hug (if you want one) and one for the dog too. I think you are wise to stay at home - they can ring you if they need to clarify anything, and when you're in your own place with home comforts you can at least look after yourself more than hanging around in a hospital.

If you can't sleep, try to relax and occupy your mind or hands - whichever works for you. And remember you've done the right thing, and he's now in the right hands, and your job is to have things in place that you know you need to have in place, then look after yourself. x

P.S. You probably already know this but head wounds do bleed a lot, the blood can't go inwards so more comes out of even a shallow injury.

Thank you @Cherryfudge. Yes I remember when I was hit by the car and banged my head there was so much blood! He’s got his phone with him and they have my number so it’s just a waiting game now.
