Have got a bag of something out of the freezer that I am hoping is Mexican rice although it also looks like grated red cheese 😬 I sense potential disappointment on the horizon. Note to self please label things you put in the freezer.
On tenterhooks here - let us know whether cheese/rice pls 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Mexican rice 🤣 I rarely buy red cheese so should’ve known really.

I didn't buy sprouts as we don't like them, but have enough parsnip, carrot & swede in freezer to last ages.
I always label my home frozen stuff, but need to do a big batch shop & cook to fill it up again. Didnt do much when I broke my wrist& then it was Christmas, so stocks are a bit depleted.

Just cut up 3 bags of carrots and done one large bag of carrot and turnip. Only thing is they do take up quite a bit of room in the freezer.x

MrBC has definitely had enough of sprouts - he will only have 4 per serving which is twice as many as my children will have!

    Morning happy Saturday 🥂

I’ve been up a while reading my book with a coffee. The cats have been fed and have gone out. Annoyed that one of them peed on the new jute rug in the kitchen 😠 It only arrived yesterday so suspect it’s the young cat putting her scent on it. I’ve cleaned and sprayed it with a deterrent spray so hopefully it won’t happen again.

I’ve got a live Zumba class later this morning then I need to go to the local shops. Must not go in the CS that sells 10 books for £1 😆 Lid! keep trying to lure me back to spend the £2.07 required to earn my next free item but I really don’t need anything to warrant me going that far out of my way just for a free yogurt. I only need a paper and some bread rolls today.

Tonight’s dinner is pizza, wedges and salad. Prosecco needs to go in the fridge.

Need to make a meal plan for the next few weeks using up freezer and store cupboard stocks.

What a wet miserable day 🙁 Took the dog out earlier and got soaked. Must remember to ask my hairdresser why when I wash my hair and let it dry naturally it dries in random frizzy waves but when it gets wet in the rain it dries in really nice soft waves 🤔 Should I give up washing my hair and just stand out in the rain 😆

Less than £5 spent at the local shops but did order a new toilet brush and insulating tape from the place I bought the bathroom sealant from (I had a 20% off discount code). You may have seen the social media ads for Must H@ve Ideas. Well I can recommend so far. The sealant hasn’t fallen off - yet 🤣

Mr SA has, through sheer carelessness, broken one of the Christmas decorations 😠 His casual response was “well Christmas is over and it’s one less thing to pack away” 😐

Mr SA has a unique approach to dealing with any breakages or damages he causes.  I suppose it works for him but not necessarily for the rest of us!
  • Hugs xx guess you will also be up for selling Mr SA as preloved, medically challenging, complete with daily want lists also odd coffee and snacks.... Mr Tuna is also on the pre loved for sale column. He has just come back from 2nd home! aka hospital he does like to challenge the Doctors and make sure they keep up with their studying of medicine.  Mr T is also the longest customer our palliative consultant  has on her books. He is just like Tigger he bounces back and long may he do so.... Hugs Andrea
