Hugs xx guess you will also be up for selling Mr SA as preloved, medically challenging, complete with daily want lists also odd coffee and snacks.... Mr Tuna is also on the pre loved for sale column. He has just come back from 2nd home! aka hospital he does like to challenge the Doctors and make sure they keep up with their studying of medicine.  Mr T is also the longest customer our palliative consultant  has on her books. He is just like Tigger he bounces back and long may he do so.... Hugs Andrea
Long time no hear Andrea. Glad to hear Mr T is still giving the doctors a run for their money 🙂

Glad the bathroom sealant is working well…..long may it last.
Tuna hope Mr T continues to bounce back and challenge the doctors.

Morning everyone, happy New Years Eve 🥂

No idea what today’s plans are. I’m a bit cheesed off with Mr SA after he had two accidents in the hall last night that I’m blaming entirely on him drinking too much beer. I feel like taking myself off somewhere away from him for a few hours to be honest. We usually go out for lunch on NYE but he wasn’t too keen yesterday, all he wants to do is sleep and watch TV. His current obsession is Only Fools and Horses he watches it all day!

Anyway that’s the morning moan over 😆

I’m gradually taking down the Christmas decorations although will leave the bulk of them until tomorrow. I have fairy lights up all year round and a lighted twig tree so it never looks too different.

Need to decide what I want to do today, I seem to have achieved nothing while I’ve been off work and I’m going back Tuesday. Bit cross with myself about that 🙁

Morning SA x knew you would be champing at the bit after all this enforced relaxation 🤣

Year round fairy lights sound nice - we have a couple of solar power lanterns out all year but might look at fairy lights instead for something different.

Hope the weather cheers itself up a bit so you can get out and escape MrSA - no wonder you are feeling cooped up it’s been 8 days!!’

  • Happy New Years eve SA.

Whilst you may not feel you have achieved much since being off work, you can at least say you have managed to get through the festive period with no broken bones, injuries or hospital visits/stays. That is a big positive!

You deal with such a lot, on a daily basis, so please don't be so hard on yourself  :)<3

Totally agree.  We all need a break occasionally.  The secret is not to let the break last too long - which is my major failing.
  • Think we all need a rest every now & then. Its an achievement looking after Mr SA. Christmas is stressful as well. I think you've done well
