That's Monday done. Another manic day at work. Went in the office this morning then finished up at home.
Payday tomorrow - woo hoo!
Have looked at finances and shuffled bits around. £3.15 sent to the Christmas pot, 4 days worth of oddments sent to the 1p savings challenge pot, £3.36 in total.
Another windows/door payment has gone out and this time next year that will be finished. It's on 0% so no plans to overpay it.
I haven't opened the YSB savings account yet, going to wait until I get paid tomorrow and decide how much to send. I need to compare the rates I'm getting with Cov before I decide whether to open the easy access account. I have the Princ1pal1ty one too. My savings pots are like a tour of the UK 😆
Today is NSD 10 of January, the final one for the month.
Won a lucky dip on the lotto.
In decluttering news have put out some more bulky waste for the council to pick up free of charge tomorrow.
Absolutely gorgeous day here so have line dried some washing for the first time in ages.
Today's exercise was walking to/from work and I'm going to do a Pilates session from the FitOn app in a bit.
And finally, tonight's dinner is something cheap and quick - scampi and veg. Being really careful this week with grocery spends as I went a bit mad the past couple of weeks stocking up on things and it's the final week of the 4 week budget period.

Forgot to add my WW order arrived today with loads of freebies - lasagne sheets, spaghetti, lentil rice, wraps and some salad dressing. I’d stocked up with my choc bars and crisps as there was 30% off boxes.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Hi SA - lurker breaching here - enjoy reading your fab diaries. how much do you reckon pre packaged WW food costs you each month? From reading its always seemed like most of your meals for you are made from scratch - or are some of these the pre prepared WW meals?Lancashire

Finally it's payday!
Lots of money shuffling this morning, sent £7.27 to the Christmas pot and £1.08 to the 1p savings challenge. Must remember to do my end of month check in on that thread.
Opened the YBS Christmas Saver but my bank won't let me transfer money to it, they seem to think it's a scam. Might have to wait until I get my confirmation letter and can log in.
Mr M delivery has been and everything put away. No missing items or subs. Had a £3 off household items voucher so just bought something for £1.25 to use it.
Today's exercise will be a target of 15,000 steps, lunchtime live bums & tums and a live resistance bands session tonight.
Tonight's dinner is stir fry, mainly because I need to use up some pak choi. I'm on a use it up mission this week.
I hope Mr SA is in a better mood today than he was in last night, he was very argumentative which seemed to be set off by me turning the volume on the TV up when he went to the toilet. He had it at almost inaudible. I didn't need that stress after a day at work, cooking, cleaning then sitting down to relax finally at 8pm to watch TV and not bicker with him. I had to remind him that I haven't chosen a life of looking after him and I'm perfectly entitled to say I want to sell up, split the house proceeds and let's see how he gets on by himself! 🤬

Sorry to hear you had a stressful evening. While other people's relationships are none of my business, I don't think it will have done any harm for Mr SA to be reminded that you have choices. You seem to do pretty much everything & it doesn't feel nice to have one's goodwill taken for granted..
Hope today is a better day.

Hi SA - would subtitles help at all with the tele volume issues? I know this is not the main issue - just trying to think of something that might make it easier.
echo @foxglovescomments - Mr SA is a very lucky person to have one such as you.Lancashire

I thought about subtitles but it would be too distracting. It’s an ongoing nightly battle with him. I think it’s him trying to exert control in some way. He was very controlling pre illness and he’s lost that control now. I used to do anything to keep the peace but not now.He hasn’t been too well today, he had a bad dizzy spell that frightened him so he’s been very subdued.Work has been manic again not helped by the IT systems being on a go slow. It’s really windy here, had a battle pegging out the bedding. The duvet cover was hanging on with one peg so I brought it in before it blew off. It even blew over my hanging chair frame and that weighs a ton.
Just going to give the bathroom a good clean, do a bit of Spanish then it’s time for resistance bands.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Nat be much fun when Mr SA is argumentative. Hope he is feeling better soon and gives you some peace.January spends - £587.582
