I’m shattered 🥱The meeting wasn’t as bad as I’d feared and to be honest the icebreaker wasn’t that uncomfortable. In icebreakers I’ve always felt a desire to say something really shocking 😈 I’d had enough after the first hour but then it seemed to fly by somehow. Hopefully it won’t be repeated for a good while although it was nice to meet team members in person from different locations.Took an early lunch break and went to a big Mr S I don’t get to go to very often since the office moved further away. I was quite pleasantly surprised by the prices of some things. Also bought a new rug for the living room and a candle from H0mesense.Didn’t get home until 6pm and was too shattered to do my Zumba class ☹️ Had a lovely soak in the bath though and for once Mr SA was happy to wait a while for his dinner.Exercise has been 27,000 steps. Tonight’s dinner was scampi, sweet potato wedges and lots of veg.I’ll sleep well tonight that’s for sure.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

My favourite ice breaker was one where everyone had to organise themselves into a line in order of birthdays, but without speaking or writing. I knew that somebody who was invariably on the same courses as me had the same birthday, so I just used to go & stand next to him!
Worst one, unwinding balls of wool to throw to each other till there's one big tangle.
"Now what have we made, guys? Connections".

We had a course last week that gave the scenario we were late to a course, our sat nav and phone had died, we got there and the room had changed without us knowing and we didn't know where the new room was. The question was "what would you need so you would be ready to give into the course and be okay"
Apparently "the bar" wasn't the right answer 🤔September 2017 Debt = £25330

Morning all, happy Friday eve.
I've enjoyed reading all your tales of icebreakers and scenarios. Why do they do these things? No one likes them and I don't think they actually achieve anything!
Thankfully WFH today, so nice not to have to rush in the morning.
I've closed the Cov easy access account that was temporarily holding the sinking funds. I want these where I can access them straightaway attached to the new current account. The emergency fund has remained, for now, with them until I find an account with a better rate of interest that would allow fairly easy access, although I'm happy to have limited withdrawals on this one. The sinking pot funds will arrive tomorrow so will lend myself £200 out of them to fund the regular saver and the rest will go in the easy access saver. I need to make a note to put the £200 back when I get the £200 for switching.
I've got a Mr M online delivery coming later this morning so not a no spends day.
Today's exercise plan is dog walking before or after the Mr M delivery arrives, a lunchtime stretch & tone session and Zumba at 7pm.
Tonight's dinner is the last portion of vegan moussaka from the freezer with salad.
Household tasks are declutter some more kitchen cupboards and clean the living room and bedroom. I'll have at least 2 hours after I log off until Zumba so can crack on then.
