I feel awful after my Covid Jab this time SA , never affected me before . Hopefully you will be ok .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1

I was pretty much fine after the Astra-zeneca ones, but felt poorly after both the Pfizers. Hope whichever jab you have is a variety which doesn't affect you as badly.

Hopefully you won't feel rough but you could quite legitimately say you'll do some prizes another day as getting vaccinated is a priority. If you don't want to pull out altogether, could you ask her to drop a boxful off to you beforehand, or next week? There's still time (I hope!) before the Christmas things actually happen.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I've had all the jabs, last one due on Thursday & have felt bad afterwards, some worse than others & it always started overnight. I have a friend who refused to have any more after the second one. He was burning up so much we were on the verge of calling an ambulance. You could feel the heat from across the room, but he is the only one I know who has reacted like that.

Well the bank switch happened this morning. I've set up the app, opened the 8% regular saver and also an easy access saver for the sinking funds.
Trying to transfer the sinking funds back from the Cov however is a different story. It wouldn't let me set up a payee online and said I could only transfer money to another Cov account nowhere else! Which sounds like my money is trapped there! I ended up phoning them but they couldn't sort it over the phone as I don't have a phone passcode (because I do everything online). They're sending me one through the post anyway. The customer services lady was really helpful and suggested I go into my account and send a secure message telling them I want to link my new account as a payee and they'll sort it out online. Sent the message and got an error code! Apparently I can only transfer to my old account and need to change that. Nothing is ever simple! Ironically both accounts are called easy savers.

Coventry customer services are brilliant - they're really quick even if you just contact them via secure message too and it seems that most things can be done that way which is great.
Glad the bank switch went through as expected as well, and that you nabbed the 8% reg saver. That's a definite winner, I wasn't expecting anything to happen along that made my FD 7% one look poor!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
