That sounds like fun, even if it is for work! Great opportunity, just enjoy it if you get to go. :)

A break away from caring sounds just the thing that will do you a world of good even if it does involve work.
  • Great chance to get away for a night - hope it comes off for you! Whereabouts in Scotland would it be?

    That's Wednesday done.

Worked in the office today. Still not quite caught up with my backlog of work but almost there. The moral of the tale is not to take holidays.

Still no sign of Mr SA's scooter being repaired so I've complained to Motability and they're going to chase it up. That usually puts a rocket up the shop's you know where! Motability offered to provide a free taxi account but it's not a taxi he needs he wants to be able to go out and about and take the dog on the park.

Exercise today has been walking to/from work plus a Zumba class at 6pm. Tonight's dinner is scampi from freezer stocks, swede "chips" and lots of veg.

MSE type stuff - got a line of washing dry thanks to the sunshine and claimed a free coffee from Ner0 on the way to work.

That's it, nothing exciting to report, which isn't necessarily a bad thing in my case 😆

  • That's very good of Motability but sadly no, it doesn't solve MrSA's problem, does it. Hopefully as you say the complaint will kick the repair into action.

A trip to Scotland sounds wonderful for you….. old you stretch it into a couple of nights and have a night to yourself without work. Would your Dd take on the caring duties overnight?
Hope the rocket up the mobility scooter shop does the job 🤞
