Water dripping in a work area sounds like a really bad idea, all those electrics!!!!!!
  • Sometimes dreams can be very odd and other times you can suddenly see the link. I dreamt the other night that I went to Paris with Doyle from The Professionals!   Now that is one dream I would like to see come true.....lol

Well done on being short listed! And how lovely to get a dinner invitation.

It's weird you dreamed about the rain and so forth. A bit of me is saying it's a subconscious attempt to air worries about weather or home security, and another bit of me is saying please could you see your way to dreaming they invent a really good, calorie-free chocolate?

    Morning all, happy Tuesday.

WFH today thank goodness as the weather is dire this morning. Will have to brave it at some stage to take the dog out.

It will be another busy day at work as still have some emails to catch up on. I also have a lengthy meeting this morning where I'm minute taking so will need to stay awake 😆

In money news it will be NSD 2 of September. I've also cancelled the DD for the additional borrowing, one less thing to pay out.

Exercise wise it will be dog walking, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.

Tonight's dinner is Spanish style chickpea stew with veggie chorizo sausages from the freezer. Going to make two portions and take one to work tomorrow for lunch. I made a batch of carrot and coriander soup on Sunday but it only made enough for three portions - one yesterday, one today and the last one can be for Thursday.

At some stage I need to get a quote for the fence that runs down the drive. Hoping it can just be repaired rather than totally replaced as it's a very long drive! It's only the first part of it that's damaged, the rest is fine. I'd like to get it done before winter ideally.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

  • Ouch to all the emails - it sounds like you're already getting back on top of things though, well done!

Lovely to be in the running for an award - good luck with that!
